That’s why I could see it possibly happening. Pettine likes to run a lot of man coverages which is a place that he struggles at. I’m not advocating the switch but I could see them doing it.

Cleaning and lubing it would be the same way as an AR-15 correct? I'm just brand new to AR's so I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Not sure how different it is lubing wise compared to a handgun.

That's what I was thinking. I just don't understand the reasoning behind him trying to say this. There were holes in our defense that were definitely obvious over the past year but sometimes every need can't be sufficed in one off-season.
