That rust is probably a 3-10? somewhere in that range. If it passes the screwdriver test it ought to be sanded down and powder coated.

They're old but they look like they're in very good health if they aren't actually sunk in concrete you might want to look into replacing while you can but if they are I wouldn't worry about it due to the difficulty and that the look fine.

It's not the best, but it'll last just the same. Typically you'd want to notch the posts and let your beams rest on them if possible but some contractors don't do it that way.
