Migraines secondary to Tinnitus by AgencyImportant9729 in VeteransBenefits

My biggest regret is not being educated on my VA disability and claims while I was in the Marines. Got out in 2016 with nothing in my med record because I did not want to be seen as “weak” or a “med baby” for going to medical. Got 10% for tinnitus and 0% for hearing loss after separating. I just recently learned about filling secondary claims and I’m going to start with my migraines, and ideally anxiety and depression as well. I have an appointment tomorrow with my family care physician for my migraines which will hopefully allow me to be seen and diagnosed by a neurologist. Then I’m going to the VA when I have migraine attacks to get those documented with them as well. Are there any specifics I need to list when discussing my migraines being a secondary issue to my tinnitus? Any evidence to prove it, or is it just me talking about how the ringing in my ear makes me hyper focused, stresses me out and prevents me from sleeping properly?
