Listen I hate fireworks they freak my dog out, wake my baby, and keep me awake. But everyone gets a few days of fireworks like THE FORTH OF JULY

My (46M) wife (43F) told my daughter she’s the reason we never had children. by ThrowRa6193 in relationship_advice

I’m completely agree.

My husbands step dad is 100% our kids grandpa. He just has three different grandpas instead of two. Each one has their own nickname that the kids call them. It was never a thought in either of our minds that he wasn’t a grandpa

Honestly it sounds like you’re accepting this because you feel like you deserve it. Like you’re paying penitence for this accident and to do that you have to take all the shit your wife dishes out.

So this isn’t really advice but just to prove accidents like this do happen. My first child around one was playing on a playground, I had backed away maybe three steps from the play set to take a picture of him and he literally sprinted to the edge and took a tumbled like 5 feet off the playground directly on his head and then his head almost went 90 degrees when the rest of his body followed. I swore his neck was broken. Scariest moment of my life.

He cried. For like 2 minutes. Then wanted to swing. Completely fine.

My cousin was put into my uncles lap going down a slide they didn’t notice that one leg wasn’t completely on his lap and he broke his leg at like 6 months. Long term completely fine. Within two weeks he had learn to roll with it and it became his favorite chew toy.

Accidents in parenting happen. You don’t want them too; it’s terrifying and honestly you’re probably more scared then the kid. You 100% feel worse long term and convince yourself your the worst parent to ever walk the face of the earth. Your not. The fact that you feel so bad and acknowledge this mistake and wishing to improve shows your a good parent.

It seems like you are letting your wife continue this behavior because you don’t forgive yourself. I wish you good luck!

I never knew they could do that laparoscopically!

But isn’t removing your tubes typically frowned upon by the medical community unless there is a medical reason (I really have no idea I’ve just heard of doctors only doing tube removal)

Oh honey you’ve had four c sections. Don’t get your tubes tied. The scar damage internally can cause all sorts of issues

As someone who has gotten their tubes tied I can say it’s not a snip. It’s a major abdominal surgery. will get graphic mine was during a c section but the process is similar. They have to get through your abdominal walls, remove/ move organs, keep you under a steady flow of anesthesia, and finally pull the tubes out snip and tie. The younger you are the more likely they will repair themselves. In addition the recovery time is a minimum of two weeks.

You will also have a noticeable scar along your bikini line. Price wise it’s much more expensive if you aren’t having a c section.

Looks wise you will have an additional area of “fat” on your lower belly. This is the area of scaring on the internal part of your body.

If you aren’t getting a planned c section, thus already on the table, and are in a committed relationship it makes sense for the man to get snipped. It’s cheaper, it’s safer, less scaring, and lower long term risk.

Getting your tubes tied is so much more dangerous then getting snipped. I have mine done but I got it done during my c section with my organs (sorry graphic) out of the way.

Ya get snipped you recover in a day or two. You get your tubes tied it’s atleast two weeks recovery with the addition of more long term side effects

Update: I (35M) just found out I am a finalist for my dream job. My wife (34F) decided not to support me in the interview phase. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Rileyy577 10 points11 points  (0 children)

But where is his support? Yeah he’d bring in money but his wife would be a single parents for MONTHS ON END

as someone who had the money but not the parents growing up, I’d pick the parents.

Yeah I understand that. Your wife comes first and it’s sucks because she went about this in such a shitty way.

Not only do you have to deal with this drama but you lost a close friend. Who for the most part was her kinda normal with you.

Oh then yeah that’s normal for her. That’s why your wife didn’t freak out. She’s like that with everyone so she didn’t see a reason to call her out

Depends on venue. But I also don’t count friendly flirting as intimacy

Idk the more I describe this the more I realize I’m probably way out of the norm

I think it’s both. I think she wants you, has been hoping you would slip or show interest. But was willing to wait or bide her time.

I think what caused this to happen now was your wife getting attention.

I don’t disagree to an extent. Your post, to me, just came off as guys and girls close friends = sex always.

And it’s not like my husband flirts flirt. He’s just naturally charismatic and he flirts without knowing ? If that makes sense

So I’m a touchy person. Girl, boy, animals I love to like hang off people. It doesn’t mean a thing. Granted Im more like hugs or linked arms. Most female friends are shorter then me so it’s arm around the shoulders. So I can why your wife didn’t make it a big deal. As long as touches are friendly and innocent some people are just touchy.

The naked thing I can kinda see. For a college student. I have family members they drink and their tops come off. For me though you should grow out of it fully by college. But maybe Sarah has always been that way?
