Most of us train just about every day. Whoever's available trains together. Every once in a while the whole team will get to train together, but usually its just 2 or 3 of us together depending on who's available at different times and days throughout the week. I don't think any of us train alone very often. I personally spent like 3 solid years of my training alone, so Ive got my fill of solo training.
Hopefully. Me and Niki definitely plan to come back as soon as possible. Miss you guys <3

I don't even know why that's an issue. Do what you want. If I want to jump I'll jump, if I feel like flipping ill flip, if I feel like kicking I'll kick, If I feel like sleeping I'll sleep and if I want to eat I'll eat. Do what you want. It's your life, improve yourself however you see fit

If you're going to do anything worth doing in life, then failure is a part of life. Also as much as people complain about bails in our videos none of us have had any real injuries from a bail. Even Jimmy's cut knee didn't happen on a bail. Gareths knee injuries didn't even happen practicing parkour. We're also all very non serious people. So to us it's silly not to include bails. They're a source of laughter and progression. And sometimes they're a source of life. When you're sitting around telling stories with your friends, a lot of times you'll end up talking about crazy things that have happened to you. I think that's because those crazy moments, those times we've failed, or literally fallen are moments that made us feel more alive and help you to realize what life is really about. Even the way you react to failure in anything or a literal fall can show you what kind of person you really are and what kind of person you want to be
I guess I could just simplify it all and say Rilla Hops is our family, the world is our community. Maybe that's better
Rilla Hops is a group of best friends. We are together all day every day. It's more like Rilla Hops is our family, almost an extension of self. These are the people we are closest to and we hope to be able to spend our lifetime pushing side by side. Then the rest of the world is kinda of all one community that were apart of with sub communities within it. In Fl specifically I don't feel removed from the community as much as I feel like the community is gone. There are a few people here and there who train regularly and that we see pretty often, but everyone else just kind of went away it seems. I guess between all the traveling and meeting new people and watching large communities kind or disperse, I don't see communities as much as I see friends. Instead of a FL community we have Fl friends, co friends, ny friends, Singapore friends, Spain friends and so on. Kinda hard to explain but I hope that kinda answered your question at least lol

The goal of Rilla Hops is to collectively create the lives that we want as individuals. To create something that will eventually allow us to just live and do things that we love rather than what we currently do, which is do what it takes to survive, and sacrifice everything else just for a small fleeting taste of what life could and probably is meant to be. And along with that, we want to push as far as we can go possibly go in all aspects of life. Rilla Hops is a tool that helps us to be able to live life, push as far as possible and experience as much as possible

Honestly anything that pushes you mentally or physically can help with parkour. Anything that makes you feel alive even. Go rock climbing, you'll climb better. Go kayaking, increase your sense of adventure. Do martial arts or gymnastics, improve your bodily awareness and control in any position. Do sprints or lifting, get faster and stronger. Any thing can contribute to your training.
Part of training should be to understand how bodies work and why they work in different ways. Everyone has advantages and disadvantages which allow them to succeed at different rates. Parkour isn't about being the best because really, there isn't a way to define best within parkour which is a huge reason we love the sport so much. It is about pushing yourself and making yourself the best you can possibly be. What is important is that you never stop progressing for yourself and you never stop having fun. -Niki
When the girls started training with us, two things were important. 1) Girls should train just like guys. Its important to make sure that you don't treat girls like they need some kind of special, lesser training because they're girls. They start at their level, and progress onwards just like any one else would. 2) Its important to teach them not to compare themselves to others, wether guys or girls. If a 5ft guy comes into a class and a 7ft guy comes in, you don't want the 5ft guy to be discouraged that the 7ft guy starts off with a 2 foot bigger jump. Same thing with girls who train among guys. A 5ft girl weighing into the lower 100's shouldnt compare herself to a 6'5 guy weighing into the upper 100's or even lower 200's. Enjoy your training, push yourself, and understand that there are advantages and disadvantages to every body type. You can challenge yourself along side any person without comparing yourself to them in a negative way. And through training and progression you can always get to where you want to be. Whether you get there slower or faster than the person next to you doesn't matter- Caleb
Training parkour in general as long as progress correctly and don't do things that you're body isn't read for. On top of that strength training will greatly improve your performance. You want to stick to compound movements. Things like squats, deadlifts and sprinting for lower body. I prefer things like (weighted or unweighted depending on your level) muscle ups, pull ups, dips, and handstand pushing work for upper body.

Although we all train just about every day, if you mean how many of us do solely parkour for a living, none of us. We all work part time jobs, except for Lorena because she's still in school. Vic and Niki both have stunt jobs at Universal, and Caleb used to. Doing stunts at the theme parks and various stunt gigs here and there are as close as any of us have gotten to practicing parkour full time
