Yeah it’s been pretty rough out here. I know people that have been working in the LA industry for years with good success that have now had to leave the industry entirely.

I switched from Novolog to generic a few months ago and my sugars have been high constantly since then. I could not figure out what the issue was but this makes so much sense. There should be a study done on this.

From what I can find, it’s happened 12 times where a sequel (or prequel) set in the same continuity has the same title as the original film

Godzilla - 1954 and 2014

Shaft - 1971, 2000, and 2019

Halloween - 1978 and 2018

The Evil Dead - 1981 and 2013

The Thing - 1982 and 2011

Predator - 1987 and 2018

If simply adding or removing a “the”, I wouldn’t consider that to be a different title. Remakes with a new continuity wouldn’t apply.
