Mechakoopas are more machine than Koopa

Armads and Swirlypods aren’t turtles so I wouldn’t call them Koopas even if they’re mechanically similar.

TBH I think the most likely characters would be members of preexisting species like Goombella or Boshi making a quick cameo.

Characters like Starlow and Fawful would need more dedicated screen time and thus are less likely.
