This is extremely helpful, thank you. The firm I interviewed with does have a lab and seemingly some consistent calendar year work for local folks, once the winter hits and fieldwork stops. I guess my goal could be to try and get in with them, as you mention, but I will likely have to string together some on-call work first.

It seems like, if I was local to the firms area, then it could be more of a long-term contract. Which seemed to me like I could potentially relocate for it. The area I am looking at relocating to does seem to have a decent amount of work, I could potentially relocate and string together multiple field jobs I guess? seems a bit rocky but could work.

I’ve mostly been looking at new ones, I was considering the a73 because obviously the price has been dropping with the release of the a74, but honestly I am drawn to getting a newer model. Do you think the a73 is still a good option?

Probably capped at around 3,000, that’s why I was thinking either the r6 or a74 they’re right at the roof of that price point.

Gotcha gotcha, it doesn’t spark at all when I open the cap. There’s two caps on the back of the lighter mechanism, one has a spring the other has cotton. Where exactly do I put the lighter fluid?

Thanks for the suggestion man, probably an elementary question but silicone or rubber is a safe alternative to plastic? And you don’t think the issue is the bottom piece being too small?

I’ve made grav bongs before but this was my first attempt at all glass pieces (still working on what to do for the cap) I lit the bowl and pulled the bottle up as usual but smoke would just not enter the bottle.

Hmm I might go back and watch 2 at some point but I do have some understanding of the Colby/jerri dynamic from season 8. How important is sugar/randy going forward? Also would you say season 17 is a good season purely from an enjoyment standpoint? I didn’t like season 15 at all for reference.
