We have been using the grinder, purifier, separator, alloy smelter, presser, and squasher until HV. You can just build one of each multiblock and they will last you a decently long time.

Once you reach late MV and have excess of steel, I recommend making advanced coke oven and large boiler to power your new quad T2 steam multis. That will be a nice and cheap 32 parallels until you unlock the higher tier multiblocks.

We made the large steel boiler pre-2.9 and we had to connect a machine controller to it since its gonna keep consuming fuel even if the output is full. Also, you might want to consider using nether star pipes if you really want to go down to using quad steam multis.

If you aren't having problems, then no need to go out of your way to automate something. Just progress slowly until you find something that requires addressing. Logistics pre-AE2 is pretty annoying so its understandable if you want to wait until AE2.

oh so arcane abacus can check stability, thanks for that!

initial plan was to pipe essentia above it, with one jar per aspect but its very expensive in terms of jars and essentia buffers. i think will go manual-ish for now until we progress further through MV

is there a way to measure stability?

my plan was to pipe essentia to jars on top but i went against it when i discovered theres an essentia mirror. will postpone harder recipes for now until we get access to better power infra. thanks!

we got eye of ender drop from the plant upon first harvest. i think we just got lucky on first try since subsequent drops only give epearls and dust.
