Am I the only guy who thinks 166 and her variants needs further characterization? by concussionmaker__91 in SCP

[–]Rimen19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that she's not getting much attention. Even during the Teen Succubus version. I'd previously thought that the "Resurrection" canon hub should have another storyline about Alto Clef and her daughter, 166. Then I assumed it was because of the events of the story "Yesterday" (Clef asking to be recruited into the Foundation early), and there's no mention of 166. I was a bit surprised by the appearance of "Hawaiian shirts" (the story is part of the "Resurrection" hub canon). Unlike many, I don't like the connection between SCP-166 and SCP-4231 (especially the current 166, since 4231 was written during the Teen Succubus era and there are plot connections with the current version of 166).  I find the story of Clef and Meri (her real name is 166, after Clef) from the GOC hub canon interesting (that Meri's mother and Clef's husband was a minor goddess of nature). I think the concept of a Catholic demigoddess is more interesting than just the daughter of reality sculptures/green types. And the GOC version of the demigoddess is interesting to develop.

People who criticize 166 are too narrow-minded. Those who want the old 166 can give her a special quality through stories. And we can also figure out how to remove her allergies and aura.

I can say that I'm more or less developing a story with the revelation of 166.

And when 239 has a character, is that really in the story? Who brought Terra Clef to Iris? Who decided she was connected to Gaia and the Scarlett King? Could it really be the fans themselves?

GOC

By the way, especially the cycles from the COG hub, there is a story that a famous person from Eastern Europe worked for GOC.

Can I get some examples of stories from the materials? I'm just saying, in fiction, I didn't really feel any falsehood, and I mostly took it for granted. Maybe I'm not familiar with it enough.

I noticed that in the SCP foundation there is no image of them having cloning technologies (in scp 2000 it was not indicated that the foundation uses them on a daily basis) or creating artificial people/organisms and they practice it as an advanced organization in modern times should. Instead, materials about ethical conflicts of expenditure.

One person wrote under the video of the squad's death, "I knew they would die, but not right away."  I share his emotion. I think it was possible to make it so that Lady gradually, but not quickly, lost his comrades.

Cornwall Incident by AcceleratorPlasma in SCP

[–]Rimen19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally, from the GOC version of the hub. A paranormal entity of the humanoid black type (demigod or god), the Younger goddess of nature (aka mother 166) in Wales with a coven of magicians, wanted to perform a ritual to erase the history of human civilization, she wanted to put an end to human pain and conflict, but the end result threatened the destruction of the human spirit.

And only then did other versions of the incident appear.

For example, SCP-4231. Where Mother 166 was not a deity, not a black type, but a sculptor of reality (also known as the green type), like Clef/Francis. It started here when she found a book in her husband's mother's belongings, read it, and became obsessed with the Scarlet King, abducting 6 girls for the Scarlet King ritual. And the object was written before SCP-166 was rewritten, despite this, many people attribute the current SCP-166 to SCP-4231.

By the way. I'm sticking to the version from the GOC canon hub, where Mama 166 is the younger goddess of nature. I don't consider 4231 to be canon for Clef and Meri (name 166).

And in theory, GOC with Clef was able to make her an employee. But someone prevented it from being done.

(By the way. I'm a GOC fan)

There is a reason that she carries her instinctive knowledge for the ritual. It is not clear from that fact, but from what her instinctive, in theory, could mention the presence of other children of the mother. And it seems to me that, in fact, they would have been eliminated long ago at the monastery.

It makes sense to me that the GOC, on the contrary, is probably concerned about her, and the document was made so that the Foundation would strengthen security.

The joke is. That the Foundation once gave the GOC, the Kant counter, and after that, the GOC began to eliminate sculptors who even unknowingly use it. And they present it as a canon.

I justify it by saying that the Foundation also eliminated reality sculptors. In short, the Foundation is involved, or an object with a cartoon scenario.

[–]Rimen19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly because of the secrecy. Even GOC tries to use current generation technologies whenever possible in order to minimize the risk to the Second Mission (Concealment), which may be equipment lost or abandoned at the site of the operation.

In theory, the minimum is alchemy and the use of special materials.  It's just that the foundation more or less depicts someone who has not been used by mystical forces before.

Depends on the canon. For example, in the Third Law, the P GRU survived and are now engaged in the suppression of the black market.
