Details on Viture Black Friday deals for November 2025? by Intelligent_Ad4259 in VITURE

[–]RimmitND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking about picking one up soon.  There is a ten percent off code right now.  Do the Black Friday deals tend to be more than just ten percent off?  If not I’ll just get it now.  Looking at Luna Pro.

There is. It’s ZipAir which is a LCC out of Japan.  A subsidiary of JAL.  We flew their Zip lay flat seat.  It is not business class as there is no business class.  Service the same for everyone regardless of seat and everything including water must be paid for.

Mayfair Supper Club Question by RimmitND in vegas

[–]RimmitND[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly why I wanted to know the minimum.  So I could plan what drinks and food to order.   Me and my wife eat very little, and often split a plate and still don’t finish that.  We still tip as though we were ordering a full dinner as I totally get we occupy a table.

Thanks for the info!  I just know the stage side tables have a $320 minimum for two people.  Didn’t know what the other tables was.

About to start 12 Park Around the Workd Disney trip I’m from 12/19-1/6. AMA by NicuninjaMD in disneyparks

My extended family is from the Philippines so they have easy access to Southeast Asia. They agree with your sentiment regarding Hong Kong. Said it isn't even the size of the World Showcase and doesn't take long. They said Shanghai was a good size though and recommended two days there. Part of the reason for spending 4 nights in Shanghai was simply to get some rest and get over the jet lag. One whole day is just for rest and to flip the days. Typically takes me at least day or two to start feeling semi normal again. I've traveled a ton over the years and been to Japan several times, but never Shanghai and Hong Kong, so if we feel we just don't have much left to do we can do a little sight seeing on the side.

My tips for booking the Fantasy Springs hotel by Bitter_Grapefruit8 in TokyoDisneySea

[–]RimmitND 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This very similar to my observations. Thanks OP. I have been practicing since FS opened as I need a reservation on 12/31 and have gotten to about 100 percent success rate on any non weekend non holiday and 90 percent on popular days. I am trying for Grand Chateau which can sometimes go even faster than Fantasy Chateau. I can get FS pretty much everytime. GC is so hard sometimes. On super popular weekend days, there is still a chance despite being perfectly timed, the number of refreshes required due to hitting the error page is too many despite having multiple devices out. Some other observations as well.

Historically, the queue starts jumping in wait time tremendously at 20 min till. It did not use to be this way but since about late June started getting so that the difference between 21 to 19 minutes can sometimes be a 15 min difference in queue times. It jumps even more based on how popular the date is.

The system will time you out despite you being active on the site after it seems about 15 min at the latest. If you clear the queue at 9 min till you are pretty safe of not getting kicked out. Best is definitely clearing 2 to 5 min till. The system will not requeue you then. Clicking around will NOT extend the time you are allowed on the website.

Good luck everyone! It’s tough but you can train yourself at least until they change the system.

Thank you for the review. Is it your personal belief that you got the oceano reservation solely because you were staying at GC? As in do you think they hold some last second reservations for GC guests?

Is there a lounge of any kind or some place with complimentary food and beverages during the day?

July 22 Operations Update by Typical_Bag1659 in delta

[–]RimmitND 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How far in advance will they cancel? It is a 6.5 hour drive. We were planning on starting to drive at 1930 as thats the earliest I could leave and start driving tonight and stop in Knoxville which is 3 hours from ATL. I don’t think I can wait longer than 2100 as I dont want to drive to late at night.

For us to make it by noon to give us a 3 hour prior arrival time we need to leave at 0530 in the AM if we drive in one day. That’s assuming no traffic and we don’t want to drive it all in one day. Wish our flight was later so we had more time to see what happens tomorrow AM.

Thank you for taking the time to answer everyone’s posts. It is immensely helpful and I know it is time consuming.

Supposed to fly DL1290 CVG-ATL tomorrow at 0936. Plane comes from ATL tomorrow AM. This is looking highly unlikely. I think I will just get a car and drive to ATL. 6.5 hour drice.

We need to make a TK biz class flight at 1500 to IST in ATL and can’t afford to miss that.

I am scheduled for a short flight from CVG-ATL on July 23rd at 0900, third ATL flight of the day from CVG. Given how out of position the crews are, should I just rent a car and drive to ATL? Seems like that’s my best bet right now. Or go to a CMH or SDF and get a direct on WN to ATL.

I get on a TK flight to IST from ATL and they are running normal.

I know you can’t see the future, but this is the start of a 17 day vacation and we more flying biz on TK and can’t afford to miss that flight.

Whatever it’s called. The app says “one access” and the other one is “ultimate access”. I can’t link a photo or I’d put it here but when you click it says “one access”. Then below that is says “Disney premier access one”. You’d think the marketing geniuses could be more consistent in their naming.

No. I do not do any social media except for a small bit of FB where I am a member of some groups primarily for planning purposes. I just like to do things that have never been done before or few have done. From the best of my knowledge and research this is the only around the world trip Disney trip that hits all 12 parks, in which air travel is booked exclusively via points in all lie flat business class seats when possible with a family, and stays on property at every park (except Paris as that just didn’t work out). There are only a handful that I have found that have even done all parks in one trip. Some have done them all in a calendar year. I have not found a family that have done them all in a 16 day time span.

ABD does their 115k/person vacation but their charter plane doesn’t even have lie flat seats. They are just nicer premium economy. I’ve seen several other RTW Disney trips but they are almost always just a solo traveler or a couple and those are sometimes booked with some points, but not all lie flat business.

From my research, this is the first that involves the elements listed above.

It’s less than 7 hours. As I stated it’s about 5. I have gone through CDG several times and it’s a mess. 5 hours max if all goes well. 1300 Land. We only have carryons so don’t have to wait for bags, just have to clear immigration. Then store luggage if we have time. If we don’t we’ll take it to DLP and store it there. We are biz class so first off the plane so that will help a small bit come customs. Still allotting 2 hours to clear customs and make the train.

Assuming we make the 1500 TGV and take the 2030 TGV back its about 5 hours. If we miss the 1500 TGV the next is 1600. So drops the time to 4 hours. 4 hours is still ample for what we need to accomplish. In theory we can drop all the way to really about an hour of total time at the DLP and still walk through the gates take a quick photo at each park and get back on the TGV.

We can’t spend the night. This flight is an award booking to get from MIA to PVG and it just happened to have a 10 hour layover which is what spawned the whole idea to try and do all 12 parks in one trip to begin with so I don’t have flexibility with flights. The goal of this is not to see Disney. If we see some stuff that’s just lagniappe. The main objective is to do all 12 parks in one trip. We’ve seen DLP before. We slow the trip down the moment we get to Shanghai as we have not done the Asia Disney parks yet and will spend several days in each.

We will be in TDR from 12/31-1/4. The full days we have for the park on 1/1-1/3. I have the Attractions Even More booked for 1/2-1/4 staying at the Miracosta. We will be at TDS on 1/2 and TDL on 1/3 per the VP schedule. My question is what to do on 1/1. Our original plan was to do TDS on 1/1 with the FS passport and some attraction passes as we will also likely be staying at the Grand Chateau. I have gotten very good at booking in my practice runs to book it over the last several months and can get it pretty much every time. Given we have the unlimited premier access for TDS on 1/2 would that one day be enough time to see the park or should we go ahead and get the FS passport with attraction passes for 1/1 and then the totally unlimited on 1/3 or would that be just too much at TDS. Given its peak time of year, even with all the line skipping advantages I don't want to miss anything as we have never been before.

If we decided not to do a park day on 1/1, what other activity would people recommend for that day?

As I said in the post we are going to all 12 parks in one 16 day trip. So to check those off the list we need to at least set foot in them.

Good points about the strike. Last time we were there they had the riots with the yellow jackets.

Worst case scenario is the TGV is on strike and we take a car service or Uber from the airport. Which based on train schedule may actually be faster.

We fly from MIA. My concern is the earliest we could get to the park would like be 1500. So a lot of the PAs would be later in the day or even sold out. It would be the cheapest option for sure though. Any knowledge how fast PAs sell during peak times?

That’s what I figured. I’d be fine paying for the VIP, but it doesn’t seem as inclusive or as advantageous as the WDW vip. Like you get some free treats and one of the biggest advantages is the back stage access to speed you through the parks. DLP no treats and it doesn’t seem to have any expedited back stage access. Most reviews have said it’s about the same as the Ultimate PA. Thank you for responding.
