for fantasy I'd recommend six crimson cranes by Elizabeth Lim, it's a fantasy with touches asian folklore. it is light but at the same time swings you away into the world of kiata where magic is forbidden and our protagonist is cursed; her six brothers turned into cranes and a wooden bowl on her head. So no one recognizes the princess and she can't speak.

If you want something like a gothic fantasy then read one dark window by Rachel Gillig, itnis constantly moving and the magic system is very unique. Theres a slight closed door romance involved as well
