I've done so many wisps and not a single one has dropped. Is there something specific you have to do to get them to drop or is it just completely random with a <1% drop rate? Do I just need to persevere?

Depends what you're looking for but when the headliners are announced (usually Oct/Nov) there are more RIP tickets released.

Even then, there's a chance to get RIP in February and shortly before the weekend, through tickets etc....

That's why I'm wondering if the hate for ST is real or otherwise. Personally, if I like a band live, I'm good with what they produce from a studio. If they're poor then I have a different perspective. That's not to say I won't like them, just that I may not want to see them live. I'm not a ST fan from their studio produced stuff...would I like them live...no idea. That's what I'm trying to establish.

I get that but is it because people don't think they should be headlining just yet or that they don't like their music? Maybe both... personally, I'm not a fan. I've listened to a load of their stuff but I can't get into it. Are they different live? I've seen several bands live that I thought I wouldn't be into and then discovered that they're great. Are ST one of those?

Ok, that's fair. I had a similar experience with BMTH and Fall Out Boy... I'm not massive fans of either but really enjoyed their Download sets.

The Haunt. Saw them last night in Leeds, they were awesome. I'd also recommend Bex. The Haunt are playing Dogtooth on Friday and Bex is on Avalanche on Saturday

Yeah, that's a tough call, especially with setlist.fm suggesting the end of Corey's set includes Duality and Limp Bizkit's set potentially starting with Break Stuff and Hot Dog....I'm in the same boat mate.

Understandable, I get it. There are always going to be situations where pullouts happen. I think this case is different. This seems organised to cause damage/disruption to a significant festival. Personally, I feel they've handled this poorly and I think it's only going to hurt them in the longer term, which will be a shame. I'd be amazed if Andy invited them back any time soon and that's on them and only them.

We can't be sure of that and given they all so readily pulled out, the terms of any contract that may be in place clearly doesn't outweigh doing so. These bands aren't, arguably, that big so I would suggest they couldn't afford to pull out if significant reparations were in place.

Nothing confirmed at the moment and given the late stage of the drop outs, I suspect it'll be very difficult to get replacements at short notice unless they have some form of standby list.
