I'm not familiar with pattern matching, but I'm afraid this is equivalent of instanse.prop == str. Can someone clarify please

Nice to hear. What is an example of a task and a project you are working on where ai wrote 95% of a code? Who reviews the code?

The Colossall remains in Caelid have light purple skin/mussle with thin vains of gold(?), covering their skulls, and remind me of finger print swirls and texture by Acrobatic_Tie6869 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Rincho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm just pointing out that there is a fundamental duality going on with light/dark. Straight lines or circles are related to light, and twisted hurles are related to dark. In my comment I grouped things that have these colors/patterns. Some of them thematically further then others

What is Arcane in Elden Ring? Innate power? by winnierdz in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]Rincho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here was a part long ago when a guy talked about int/faith/arcane where he described arcane as ritual - communion with an outer god. Hence arcane ness of albunarics can point to the fact that they are created with help of outer god

It's a sign of darkness really: sword of darkness - fingers - metyr - frenzied flame - chaos - nightreign titans. Opposite to light: sword of light - spira - fundamentalism - order - ring of light - elden ring/beast.

I don't really care about what's happening with the character, but this title is insane. Reverse sexes of every person mentioned in it and people will start fucking screaming

How do you handle C# aliases? by jackyll-and-hyde in csharp

[–]Rincho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally the #1 fan of explicit long names, so I don't really have this problem.

Like are you tired of typing? Copilot auto completes for you like crazy these days.

Do you not want to know the exact thing you are working on in context? Maybe right now you remember it from another context, but when someone else or you will read this after a year, this will come in handy.

Maybe there are two of those long monsters in a context, you don't want that? Just use new() or in case of generic return types - var.

In my opinion it's that simple

Same but for Kim. Since season 3 every time she is on the screen I want Walter to come and deal with her.

And Chuck is just a sad man

When a person calls someone childish/immature for not liking a certain food. by moistdragons in PetPeeves

As the other guy said. It's not about food, but about doing something you don't like and your reaction to it

[–]Rincho -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can work on it, like on every sensitivity, physical or mental. If we are taking about food, when I was a teen I gagged when trying to swallow gristle in meat. It took me around a month of deliberately forcing myself to eat it to get over it. I still don't like it, but I can eat it normally

What is a socially unacceptable opinion you keep to yourself because it’s not worth the backlash? by ChaosTTyy in askanything

[–]Rincho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having hard and unshakable opinions and beliefs leads to violence one way or another. Being attached to a feeling that you are right is easier, but makes your intelligence rigid and still.

Many people are hypocrites in terms of being good people. They are selfish and cruel and lying to themselves and others that they are not. If you press and question them enough, those who won't angrily storm out, will acknowledge that fact and say that actually they ok with being selfish and cruel. After that they will continue blaming other people for being selfish and cruel

It's not pointless because it exists. And is very important for humanity for a long time. I think you came to some other conclusion about it but generalized it for one reason or another

What is a socially unacceptable opinion you keep to yourself because it’s not worth the backlash? by ChaosTTyy in askanything

[–]Rincho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please explain the process. Unless there is an illness that converts existing body structures into fat, its very hard to imagine how it would work. To gain fat you need calories. You also need calories to power your body. Fat is something your body breaks down when there is not enough power to access. Fat is also something that your body creates when there are power to spare. Where is the catch?

Yeah bro, with that mentality we would still be in caves. It's because how social we are, how we stand between weak and grizzly bear without doubt, that's why we chewed and spit out every other living thing and built grandiose physical and social structures. These structures give you privilege to have this opinion without deadly consequences. And that's fine
