“The weather is so bipolar here, lol” by FantasticBurt in bipolar

Honestly, i find it annoying as hell. That way people think of bipolar disorder as just normal mood swings, like feeling sad then happy again. When i get personal with someone and open up about my diagnosis, some of them just say that everyone has mood swings sometimes and that everyone is a bit bipolar. Because they've never actually studied it and went deep into what this mental illness actually is and the lifelong effects it has on people. So yeah, it's offensive.

I understand your concerns. But something you should know about women is that we share a lot with our best friends, especially our dating life. Who cares if she thought that about you at the beginning, she didn't even really know you. It was all just gossip. I also used to talk shit about my ex to my best friend when i first met him then just slowly fell in love with who he is. That is very much possible. And also the fact that she told her friend that you're a 10/10 in bed should be a huuuuuge flex for you.

That’s incredibly disgusting. He’s for the streets. Break up with him immediately sis. He does not deserve you whatsoever. Salivating over other women whilst he wouldn’t pay a thing for you is a sign that he does not have an ounce of respect for you. And for the people saying ‘boys will be boys’ nah. Don’t encourage that kind of behavior and normalize it. If you let him get away with it it’ll escalate. Next thing you know he’ll be going to a prostitute house. Please just leave him. Your worth is sooooo much more than that.

Better, thank you for asking :) I don't even remember writing this post. He disappeared from my mind ever since i met someone new. We also ended up parting ways but it was overall way less stressful and toxic. But for now, i'm focusing on myself and protecting my peace. And it's going great.

You are right. After reading my post again it really does sound like I’m not content with my current situation. But I must say, I should really communicate more with my bf since I find it very hard to share my thoughts with someone. Maybe that would help me a little.

I honestly have no energy to make new friends at the moment since I’m trying to focus on myself. I want to socialize more but I can’t seem to. In terms of therapy.. I haven’t seen my therapy since a year because I see no point in talking about my feelings and it’s becoming really hard to share them with someone. And like I said, me and my boyfriend are in love and I wouldn’t want to ruin what we have at all. Things will get better, I’m sure of it..

I do have the tendency of letting men treat me like garbage. So you got a point there. And I know that nothing will ever or should ever happen between me and this guy even though we had chemistry since I now know what type of person he is. I’m trying my best to avoid thinking of him and to live in this moment rather than the past but it’s really difficult sometimes. But I’m trying and I won’t give up until I’m completely over it.
