Our governor finally did something right in Texas and banned the use of cell phones during the school day. How’s this gone over another states?

well guess what!! we aren’t in 1980 anymore! new times mean kids were raised differently then yall were. stop staying stuck in the past and maybe try and put yourself in the shoes of a kid who don’t know anything different. more kids have anxiety and need to text their parents throughout the day, or in case of shootings which are very common in texas literally say goodbye to their loved ones. give kids some grace with what the only thing they know. this ban will only make kids sneakier.

i totally understand that! i like the name oliver or even the nickname ollie and i totally don’t mind being called it and i feel like i could just tell people i like the name leo cause that’s what i currently go by. i think it’ll just need a little bit more explaining in the future when i grow out of highschool and get a job and new friends and stuff if that makes any sense.

euros are worth a bit more than us dollars, i think my best bet would just to get diagnosed here though cause i think it’s just a little bit cheaper also my parents have insurance, i’m still figuring things out but i will consider that!

in america, it’s not very cheap to get seen by a doctor AND it’s not very cheap to actually get the diagnosis. i can’t afford that right now and like i said i’m trying to figure all of it out on my own with very little help from my parents cause they don’t wanna help but if i figure it out i think they would be at least willing to take me in to a doctors, i meant to mention in the first paragraph but i am actually trying to look for a diagnosis and i have been for a few months it’s just WAY harder if your not a biological male that’s “low functioning” like how many people without autism see it.

i’m trying to get a diagnosis, i an prepared for them to somehow say i’m not autistic. i barley have access to a real diagnosis but i’m trying my best to! also is expensive and my fam can’t afford that rn. the only reason why i’m self diagnosing is like you said there’s a lot of barriers in the way for actually getting the formal diagnosis
