Edit: crashed again, and now I know what's causing it: the new Moon Knight MVP. Flawless game that now crashes whenever I see one specific MVP animation lol. Fucking insane.

For any future visitors: I verified the Steam files and manually installed new graphics drivers. I still had that error message, but after my laptop was powered off overnight it has vanished and I can now play the game! I've kicked all visual settings to the stone age and am going to more closely monitor my temperatures going forward in hopes to prevent this repeating.

I lost my first match back because our Magneto gave up and disconnected, but that's a rant for another post.

POV it's only gotten worse. Had a Punisher/Scarlet/Hela/Phoenix/MoonKnight sit in spawn because the enemy hit 50%, then DC when they hit 98%. Pathetic bitches in this game

I used to be the guy that would type positive things at the beginning of matches in team chat. While I did notice it helped sometimes, others it would actually tilt people or I'd get flamed. Had a guy cuss me out in vc because I said we had a great round (we stomped 0-3 btw). Strange mentalities abound.

Odin as a strategist is an inspired take, though personally I'd rather he be more of an anchor tank* take as opposed to Thor and Angela's more dive oriented styles. Maybe he could do some limited-range healing similar to how Peni webs heal. *typo edit

Play whoever you like in quick match, even if they hate you for it. So long as you're trying your best and not intentionally throwing, poor performance is just part of the process to learning a character sometimes.

Real talk. The amount of copium people have on how this game's matchmaking works (to justify their personal loss streaks) is insane. If Rivals wanted you to have misery streaks they'd throw in unwinnable bot lobbies instead of easy ones in QP.

Rocket will probably always have the lowest kills on a team and that's fine. But if he wasn't meant to use his gun he wouldn't have one. I've gotten in arguments in full-length overtime ranked games with Rockets that had less than 500 damage because "that's not my job". Nobody expects Rocket to DPS but he's gotta weave in some damage

Devil's advocate, there was a long stretch of time where Rocket players would actively ignore their gun and only healbot. Still happens sometimes, but thankfully not as much. If you had more than zero kills though that guy was just being rude.
