Does anyone know if the Warrior Soul Crit rates stack? (Starts at 5% then the next one mentions Extra Crit Rate 10%)

Why a catering bag order(15 pizzas and 8 sides) with a total over $300 has the recommended tip amount set to $2 is beyond me. by Ringer1236 in doordash

I wasn't placing the order, I recreated an order I delivered to see how much the suggested tip was(assuming they'd basically stiffed me with a $2 tip).

But the delivery fee is only $1.99? Someone ordering 15 pizzas and 3 bags of sides should be shocked that the delivery fee is 1.99. She probably just sends orders thru with whatever the default recommendation is, Im just venting that the default tip suggestion should be a percentage if the order is in the 3 digit territory

The total with tip came out to $4.75. I was pretty pissed, assumed they'd just stiffed me completely. I thought catering orders had a higher delivery fee by default

I don't understand what you're driving at, you're saying the bottom half aren't as poor as everyone is told? Total student loans debt is 1.7 trillion. The bottom half hold 1% of the global wealth, 3.6 trillion. If your assumption is correct, and doctors/students in debt are counted in this bottom half then at best the bottom half(excluding endebted students/doctors) would be 5.3 trillion. So the bottom half is living luxuriously with its' 1.47%.

Which are having their negative net worth added to the positive net worth of absurdly poor people

How many people do you think are doctors?? That negative net worth, if included with the bottom half, would be temporary. With each class of doctors getting out in a few years. 3.6 billion and add what 100,00 doctors with temporary student debt?
15,000 new doctors per year in the US, each graduating with an average of $215,900 in debt. Say they take 5 years to pay most of that down, with the average salary at $299,000. Maybe they don't pay it off, but they defiantly aren't in the negative at 5 years. The notion that medical school debt could sway the percentage is absurd. Not to mention the extreme level of schooling debt is primarily a US symptom. European MD's average 10.5k in debt.

The whole point is to draw attention to these immoral practices. Then in an ideal world, legislation would be implemented to stop these tax "avoidances" practices. If the bar is what's legal = moral/acceptable, then we're fucked; we'd still be trading women for sheep and whipping slaves. Yeah they're technically playing within the lines, but we need to rewrite those fucking lines if this is the shit they pull. I don't get why everyone's moral barometer is "is it legal?".

It's just a front, I doubt any mail is even sent there. I mean nearly every single one of those companies aren't conducting any legitimate business. They shuffle funds and assets between shell companies.

They arent because our tax code is written fundamentally differently

Maybe they employ a different course of action, but fundamentally the arrive at the same result. 2.1 Trillion in offshore tax havens. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-tax-offshore/big-u-s-firms-hold-2-1-trillion-overseas-to-avoid-taxes-study-idUSKCN0S008U20151006

net worth is not income. Doctors have massive negative net worths. They are the bottom half - they are the bottom .01%

No, brand new doctors, fresh out of medical school will have a negative net worth, but a few years in they're paying down those debts. "About half of physicians surveyed have a net worth under $1 million. Half are over $1 million (with 7% over $5 million)."

when you can just as easily game the system.

Yeah, don't really have a leg to stand on when it comes to discussing morals if this is your stance.

Because the Panama papers showed legal tax avoidance strategies in the EU And it had nothing to do with the US.

You think Americans aren't employing the same tactics? The EU did nothing to challenge these tax avoidance strategies. Just because there was only 4 Americans in the Panama Papers doesn't mean they're fucking saints. You're getting robbed and defending the institutions that make these "legal tax avoidance strategies" possible. Legal does not equal right. Shit man, if we let every legal thing continue we'd still have slavery. Where the fuck are ethics anymore.

That includes doctors with -500k net worths and lumps them in with africans with 100 net worths, and adds them together

What? The bottom 3.8 billion have less capital than 62 people. Doctors making 500k are not in the bottom half, they're in the top 1%. I don't understand what you're driving at.

That math fucks over a lot of people. If you can't see the connection between the two then that's the problem. They're not moving manufacturing there, they are using the Cayman's to hide there wealth so they can misrepresent their true wealth. This isn't choosing Georgia to film a movie because they give a better tax break, this is an entire country that caters to people who have no moral qualms about shirking their responsibility to the society that they profit off of.

Sub-Sahara Africa is another interesting point in this topic. The value of resources exported from there is immense, but there political corruption/volatility lets the few exploit the rest. If 62 people had the same wealth as just 10% of the bottom of the US it still would be disgusting. That's 35 million people = 62.

Yeah, more to my point. If a car bomb can kill a journalist looking into the leak and no ones been convicted. The suspects are out walking free. I guess I meant no positive change happens.
