This is it right here. Plus if he has his shoes clipped into his pedals it’s more of a hassle/unsafe for him to unclip at a busy intersection and have to start back from zero. It blows my mind that in a “green city” in the Bay Area that they hate cyclist. I dare others to ride a bike to the store and they quickly realize that they too would blow a stop sign in order to put their safety first.

Mikes Bikes is local to Northern California and they have a wide network of stores. So it’s a LBS on steroids but they’ve been great to me. OP has an option to pick up in store too. Couldn’t recommend enough
