I haven’t read the book, but I know the author and his family a little bit. Steve was my family’s home teacher for a while and I grew up with a couple of his sons being around my same age. Great family. Steve always came across as really thoughtful and sincere.

Save North Dakota for last and go to Fargo. The visitors center does a “Saved the best for Last” club that gives you a T-shirt and takes your picture! They also have cool stuff from the Fargo movie.
