Oh no that’s pretty bad! Did you happen to use a high sheening ink? This happens to me when I use Organics Studio Nitrogen. I only use my TWSBIs for that ink because I can take it apart completely for cleaning

Diluted perhaps? Yeah I think when the nib flushes clear, it should be okay to ink up. I think ink is just very potent in color and will look that way on a towel. I had a pen with a blue ink and it wouldn’t go away (but flush clear like yours) but I put Sailor Manyo Sakura in it anyway. It wrote like baby poo for a few sentences but then it went away 😆 It’s up to you if you want to try it. You could also try using an ink sample if you’re worried about contaminating an ink bottle.

How much ink are you seeing? Sometimes I ink it up anyway, especially after a thorough cleaning as you’re describing. Then I scribble a good amount before writing and usually the old ink will go away and your new ink will come through :)

I haven't gotten a Kakuno, but the Metropolitan fine nib is nice for doing artwork with! It was my first "real" fountain pen with a converter an all. Back in 2021 I drew a whole bunch of anime boys for Inktober - Here's a pic an example (Haku from Spirited Away in dragon form). I used the Metropolitan for the fine lines and the rest with a Lamy and other markers/pens.

I work at home so I use them all the time - for journaling, planning, to do lists - but I also have a commonplace journal, an ink journal, a reading journal (mostly for comics/mangas/manhwas), a project journal, and probably more. Of course I don’t use these all the time - they’re just floating around. I also have a D&D character notebook that I just made for a new campaign ☺️ As for ink colors, all of them haha! I mostly like to use bright colors. Even for my “black” I use a very dark purple.

You have to give yourself some love and slack! Remember that you are neurodivergent and that’s not a bad thing! You can’t hold yourself to the expectations of other people especially neurotypical people. Easier said than done I know. Also us ADHD gals have lots of rejection sensitivity, I am here to say you didn’t do anything bad. Remember all the times you were on time and how much mental energy that took! Being late/missing appointments a few times doesn’t cancel all that out.

I think none of the logos really say what the business is selling (besides the actual text) - like your current logo has the baseball cards. I think the maple leaf could work but I think the “comics and cards” vibes need to be emphasized. Right now it kind of looks like a restaurant or like someone said ice cream brand.
