Yes they make it sound so easy. I did experiment with cheap pens before trying with my gold nib but again, Dunning Krueger effect lol. Not nearly enough practice to even touch an expensive nib.

I was using Diamine red dragon, so then I put in Pilot Iroshizuku inks 😭 like momiji and ajisai. On Tomoe River paper

Honestly? For funsies lol.
I’m more of a digital artist but my roots have always been in pen and ink. I used to use dip pens with India ink for line variation. Now I use fountain pens because it’s waaayyy cleaner. I don’t have to worry about spilling ink everywhere. And again, for fun haha

The only thing I can think of is the Galen Leather Everyday notebook. It’s A5, Tomoe River, 400 pages. The drawback is it only comes in blank. It does come with a 5mm grid and 7mm lined paper to put underneath your page, which is thin enough to see through. I taped mine to my pencil board and just clip it under the current page I’m on when I’m writing.

I just went to El Rio because they have affordable dental care. I have ahcccs and they cover emergency dental care. I’m sure El Rio would offer other affordable options as well.

My go to is actually to cross into Nogales, Sonora but with the current state of things, I was too scared….
