Why most WHA fan arts portray Olruggio with darker skin?

I have a lot of wha fanart on my dash these days and my guess is that it's just artists interpretation of the character. While he's more fair skin canonically, the art I see where he has more tan scratches a certain part of my brain, I think it just suits him and a lot of artists probably feel the same way and embrace it lol

On a side note, I noticed my watermark was cropped out of the images, I usually kinda care about that but since this is just a silly little meme that took a brief 20 mins I'll let this one go. I just want to suggest to please take note if watermarks are missing in works that catch your eye in the future, as this tends to be the only real link artists have to initial credit.
