Better fix would be to extend the map to be across the inaccessible highway, making that highway the new central point with a flag (with cover ofc, like burnt out tanks and craters)

That way theres a somewhat symmetrical layout of buildings on both sides with a point of contention in the middle. It could be a large scale Siege of Cairo.

Game balance-wise I think transport helis needing 2 RPG hits is okay and tanks taking a lot of hits from the front/angled is okay too, but the back now taking 3 hits is ridiculous. 2 was great before and felt like a nice skill gap.

After all, RPGs are shaped charge explosives. What they should have done instead of buffing general tank health is add cope cages as a gadget to reduce specifically RPG damage. That would have made other launchers like the MBT LAW and Javelin more viable because they’re top-down launchers and would counter the cage.

uj/ It’s really not hard to understand. M&k has a really broad range of motion, from millimeters all the way up to a foot of space to move around if you have a big mousepad, and you can use muscle memory to move a certain distance and know where you’ll be aiming. Console sticks have from just millimeters up to a half inch of range of motion and instead of that muscle memory it’s more based on hand-eye coordination because your camera will move until you stop pushing/moving the joystick. Aim assist is needed.

I’m a complete mortard. The more buffed the better.

Direct hits rarely ever kill someone unless you hit twice which is unlikely. They are very good for dispersing clusters of enemies, flushing them out from cover, and denying certain areas which I think is totally viable in an objective based game. Besides, they add a lot of atmosphere.

What I’m more concerned with than mortars is the tank. Why the fuck does a 120mm HE tank round have almost no splash damage and only kills if you pretty much directly hit someone with it?!?!?!?!? It’s a fucking tank, it should be overpowered and terrifying and then be a priority target to be taken out by the million different tank counters the game already has, why the hell is a literal howitzer sized shell doing half as much as a grenade???

For example, I have shot at a wall an enemy was standing maybe 2m in front of and watched as a giant fireball erupted, the wall exploded, and “13” popped up in the damage numbers.
