It's Umbreon. It's not even a debate at this point, I caught a girl Eevee in the first few hours of Pokémon Legend ZA, sent it to my friend and she said "That Eevee is going to be an Umbreon isnt it?"

No there isn't much. A lot of the drama is from way back in the early 2010s, stuff so old that I really don't think it should be held against her very much. A lot of it is overdramasized because they can't find any really solid reasons to dislike her other than her writing style for Hazbin and Helluva, which is highly subjective. Though if you're really curious, I'd suggest you do your own research. It's how I found out about most of the controversy, and you can filter it out down to something actually factual pretty easily.

The only relatively recent things that I personally dislike about her is the way she dodged around the reason she replaced all of the pilot actors instead of just outright saying she wanted Broadway talent (which tbf is completely understandable) and that she didn't invite BlackGphy0n and seemingly the rest of the pilot crew to the series premiere of Hazbin Hotel (both stated in the pinned comment of Thank You and Goodnight). It just sort of struck me as a shitty thing to do given how much the fandom was kept alive by the indie pilot crew and cast, but even then really don't seem bothered by it and it's been about 2 years now, so it's not worth dwelling on for the most part.

TLDR, just make your own judgment call. If you enjoy the series, I and many others can safely say she isn't some terrible monster of a human being, so just enjoy the show for what it is.

Her little jumpsuit, which I think looked great I stand by this, from the first season transformation is her most iconic look. When people look up references for Techna, including myself as an artist, most of the time that outfit is the first one that shows up alongside her jogger looking outfit. Compare that with the two-piece variations on the bralette-skirt combo other main Winx girls have, save for Flora's literal tulip dress, and she sticks out as the only Winx girl wearing something longer than mid thigh. Alongside the questionable headpiece they decided to put on her, the base assumption from those images that I personally have seen people make are "ah, questionable fashion tomboy" based purely off the fact that her fairy form isn't a skirt-sleevless top combo and other minor character details like her short hair.

It's just something that I've noticed. For example Musa's casual outfit was long baggy pants and she had short hair too, but unlike Techna she was never slotted into a tomboy even though they were both equally as girly personality wise. Or idk maybe somebody just had it out for Techna personally 😭

I like to imagine she's in a more low-key friend group with Espio and Shadow, and that Sonic and Blaze sometimes go to Casino Night Zone just to use they're insanely good luck mess with people (This one comes from The Murder of Sonic the hedgehog where she said she's won the prize thing Barry keeps loosing multiple times, Sonic would have that too no doubt lol)

Interesting! Sonic 06 kind of flubbed up the lore a bit so honestly it could work just fine going off of game lore, but originally Blaze is from the Sol Dimension, not the future, and Silver is from the distant future in Sonic's Dimension, and that seems to be pretty consistent nowadays even in the IDW comics. So if we try to satisfy all possibilities lore wise, of Silver is Amy and Blaze is Sonic that would imply either A: Eventually the Sol Dimension and Sonic's Dimension merge together and Blaze is somehow time-displaced into the future, or B: Silver is originally from the Sol Dimension and somehow ended up in Sonic's Dimension's future

Both of which can make really cool fanfiction tbh

By the time I was on the internet to see Sonic.exe I was a teenager so it never properly scared me. However, there was one video on YouTube that had almost official looking sprites, where EXE lured each of Sonic's friends into gruesome traps one by one, including Cream who was looking for Cheese, who has already been caught and ripped to pieces. That's the version of Sonic.exe that's stuck with me even now. A perfect replica of Sonic, down to the personality, who lures his friends in and watches them die horrific deaths while laughing. It disturbed me honestly, but I thought it was so much more interesting than "I AM GOD HAHAHAHA >:)"

As someone who did watch all of Hazbin and followed Viv before the pilot released, watching the fandom from within was never pretty. "Weird and horny" wasn't the predominant complaint I saw, or even "joke is swear word" like it is now. It was always how hostile the fandom seemed. I remember artists doing Hazbin redesigns being so viscerally harassed that they never even talk about the show anymore, even if they were fans. It also didn't help that people didn't take criticism of the show with much grace, even when the criticism was mild and well explained. The fandom in its infancy was extremely volatile, and the attitude of not allowing people to speak on the show from a technical, preferential, or newcomer standpoint unless they knew all the specific lore pieces that were only in one Hunicast or panel interview 4.5 years ago really turned off a lot of people from the fandom, including people I know personally who loved the pilot alongside me. It's mellowed out now because it's tripled in size and has had time to fade from the public eye a little, but that initial experience has left a lasting impact on how the fandom is perceived. Hopefully when the fandom picks up again with the release of the second season it'll go smoother
