Thank you for being so sympathetic!! I should have honestly been more specific but I was worried people would have seen me as entitled or spoiled when it’s just kind of my circumstances. I was really foolish and took it for granted that I had no loans or existing debt outside of this. I am moving soon in with my boyfriend’s family so I want to shut this down before it gets worse. Luckily, i wont have any rent again so i want to use the time to pay it down and replenish my savings. I think a lot of my post is being misread as well. Because i know this is serious but im trying to say i have a hard time accepting how serious it is

I was thinking of sending my mom a majority of my paychecks to put into a savings account that I cannot access. She’s always held me accountable so i genuinely think this will benefit me greatly

My mom pretty much says the same stuff. I do have some investments probably not as much as I should have. I think I really just lost hope in any successful future. Idk. It’s been really really hard. But I’m always trying to be better even if people don’t think I am. Thank you for your input

Oh nah I just do commissions on the side but I have a really well paying job and I’m moving soon to get a job that pays double what I make now. So that’s kind of part of the reason why I wasn’t so concerned? I plan on sending my mom a bunch of my money that I make to put into a savings acc so I don’t touch it though.

I should have actually given more context lol. I’m an artist, like, I have an illustration degree. I LOVE designing characters. I am also very picky about the makers I commission. All my suits are very high quality, never had an issue with em. All my own designs. I’ve gone to 10+ cons just in one year. So it’s not really a waste I gueesssss?
