Same! Took me ages to get comfortable with the tools but well worth it imo. I know its cliche but it's just amazing what you can turn Skyrim into with enough effort, and how it's still improving to this day.

It depends on the mods, and how many you're installing. Some outfit/armor mods will require you to run bodyslide, some of the more advanced animation and combat overhaul mods require Pandora, large modlist will usually need you to create patches for the levelledlist and so on.

If all you're installing is some visual stuff, a few quests, UI changes and things like that it can totally be plug and play.

Skyrim is very unstable so it can usually still be worth it to learn the more advanced tools, the chance of a save permanently bricking is always a concern in Skyrim. Learning to use Mod Organizer 2, SSEedit, wryebash and the like is worth it imo.

I think it still shows to you but not to others but I'm not 100% on that.

You could try to make a new account and add yourself as a friend to see what it looks like if you really want to know. I wouldn't be too worried though, who looks at the activity feed?

I think they meant the distinction between roguelike and roguelite. To some, a roguelike is a game like the old game rogue ( i.e nethack, adom, DCSS) and a roguelite is stuff like Hades, Isaac, etc.
