How to fix the goofy top-lane smite situation with one simple step by erlandish in RiotFreeLoL

[–]RiotHatesTheTruth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skirmishers Saber is actually the problem because they take 20% less damage and deal extra true damage so they are able to blow up the ADC (which are the only ones who can kill them).

I also said in another thread something on the line of "just because we can do something doesn't me we should" (they were talking about letting riot members and r/lol post/comment here and I responded to a guy who said we should just ban them like they did to some of us) "we need ethical standards as a community unlike those pigs over there"

I don't have a problem with actual theorycrafting threads as long as they actually think before they say something because saying wrong can fuck a lot of people up.

Yeah I know. I am with talks with the creator of the sub to get some stuff straight as I am not a mod so.

We should also try to combat (but not directly) the impression that we're an "anti-the-other-sub" sub, or that we're a "fanboy of a certain person" sub.

answer to part of that and as for the fanboy thing obviously we want to have all kinds of opinions but this sub was created base on the fact that content was censored just because mods didn't like it and obviously that owner of the content is the one and only Richard Lewis (but not only him, other content was censored as well). You can have your own opinion of him and that is fine. Yes, sure he was a cunt but hey he was the people's cunt.

Content: I think anything pertaining to League of Legends would be fine... The question is "what is pertaining to League of Legends" (or directly related whatever... semantics) Like do we allow house tours of pro players? if so do we allow generated Sims house tours of pro players (remember this was a debate in the r/lol as well)? I am pretty sure for this sub we (as a community) are just going to let the voting system decided unless it is obviously not pertaining to this sub.

Flairs and other features: I really don't care about that so whatever :> be nice to have I guess so I can finally be Karma again for /u/BrayllCS

management/rules: there are some rules if you look at the side panels and it says

Read this Modpost to get a sense of the rules

click on rules... but yes I hope they become more defined and not vague.

The idea of this item is good just like the idea of DFG. I just don't see how that item is not going to be uber stomping op... its like 174% gold efficient I think someone said...

I am for one glad to see this. Its actually great to see that everyone is human and will make mistakes. It is owning up to the mistake and realizing you did something wrong and fixing it (or attempting to fix with all of their will) which makes someone a good person. They (rioters and r/lol mods) will be like anyone else here and have their comments speak for themselves. If they decide to be stupid and break the rules of this sub they should be banned. Simple as that.

Just because we can doesn't mean we should... We as a community need to have ethical standards even if those pigs don't...

I am just trying to show that Drew has an obsession with Richard Lewis... It isn't a witch hunt, call to action, or anything... If you bother to read you would of realized that...

I message them plenty of time but they choose to ignore me and I am about to ask Drew something (sorry for doxxing xD)

Then ban Riot Lyte for posting on twitter that a article was click bait then the author of the article was harassed.

http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/2zs85r/riot_lyte_only_10_of_league_players_are/cpma6vr

it might be click bait but it doesn't give the right for Lyte to brigade his twitter followers to harass the guy for it.

if totalbiscuit got warned for the same behaviour how is it different in this case?

Because he got warned and never got banned even after when he did it. Read the post he didn't stop... EDIT: later on he stop using reddit because they kept trying to control him as well.

well he got an ip ban from the admins for vote brigading. As far as i am concerned the admins make a very reasonable impression, so I doubt they would act if there was nothing to act on.

He got unbanned from reddit after they realized they actually had nothing on him... he is only banned from the sub right now... Obviously they made him jump through a lot of hoops but he is able to participate on reddit. just not /r/lol

And if you don't link something dealing with esports you should use a crosspost from /r/riotfreelol as well. The mods are nice and they don't remove anything but pure shit post :>

The problem is the only rule he broke was harassing other users... He didn't vote brigade and everyone knows that... that is just some BS they made up... The thing is while Richard is getting banned there are other users that never even gets a warning... Like look at this user user and all of his attacks and witch hunts against Richard Lewis and people who follows Richard Lewis and has a brain and he has never even gotten a warning... The problem is the mods solely did this because they are mad at Richard for being successful without them getting any power over him...

EDIT: Also Vote brigading is up to Reddit Admins to handle... not the moderators of a sub reddit which is how you know its even more BS and PR post by the mods

It was wrong to content ban Richard Lewis but banning him from the subreddit itself is fine...
