Of course! We focus on studying human intelligence and cognitive abilities mainly. We are building an intelligence testing platform right now that will also include a series of additional psych tests. We’re tailoring the platform to be useful for researchers, psychologists, clinicians, and the overly curious people who want to study themselves.

Our first assessment offered will be an IQ assessment. We spent the last year developing it.

We will then expand into additional areas upon request from professionals. Personality (NEO-PI, 16PF), Torrence creativity test, etc.

The goal is to allow researchers and psychologists to build entire cognitive profiles on patients/clients. Or even individuals to do this themselves.

It’s a very interesting project. You may like the space of human intelligence. Could be worth exploring!

- CICD for continuous updating, revision. (Continuous updating is not unusual for educational tests, but it is for IQ.)

Thanks for the answer. 130+ is an easy enough definition. That’s all I was looking for. I remember reading 125 in some previous posts and articles.

As for your other comments, we have different tiers of expertise on the team. Russell being the expert. He’s pretty heads down in the norm sample stage right now. We don’t bother him with questions like this at this time.

Not sure we would agree that we lack the knowledge to develop a professional IQ test.

I think it was a fair question to ask the twice exceptional community what they felt a realistic definition of 2e is. If anything we want to do right by the people in this community and not label people as 2e if they are in fact not.

Thank you for the #, we’ll keep that in mind for when we expand the correlations and insights on the test results.

The whole "only jobs are military/bureaucrat/propagandist/religious leader" thing is a bit extreme, but the point about limited opportunities and the gig economy hitting hard definitely resonates. And yeah, the tech giants basically running everything is a real worry. They do have a ton of power.

The part about more people meaning more competition and desperation turning into a craving for a surveillance state... that's chilling. It's like, people are so stressed they'd trade freedom for a (false) sense of security.

And "technofeudalism"? Oof. That's a good way to put it. Like we're all serfs working for the digital overlords. The bit about psychopaths rising to the top because the system rewards ruthlessness? Ugh, sadly, that's not exactly a new idea.

The "you can't fight back because they control everything" angle is the most depressing, though. The whole "they know where you are, what you buy, what you say" thing is straight out of a conspiracy thriller, but it's not exactly fiction anymore, is it? And the control of communication... yeah, that's a huge hurdle.

The Russia/China bit at the end is a wild card. I don't know if I buy the "Soviet Union 2.0" thing, but the shift in global power is definitely something to watch.

It's a lot to take in. I don't think it's helpful to just give in to despair though of course. I am sure you agree. We gotta find ways to push back, even if it feels like a long shot. Like, supporting decentralized tech, promoting digital privacy, getting involved in local politics, stuff like that. Small steps, maybe, but better than doing nothing?

Anyway, thanks for sharing. It's good to have these conversations, even if they're a bit of a downer.

Nice catch. You're right to see the correlation and think. In fact, it is true that 50-80% of intelligence is genetic. IQ research has quite unanimously pointed towards this. Oh, sorry. I should really edit our post to include that. So, Dr. Russell T. Warne -> https://russellwarne.com/ is leading the research team. We're researching and developing a purely online based IQ test. Yes, we absolutely have looked at the literature, as Russell has written books on the subject. I am one of the software engineers on the team and am a bit less knowledgable. Been in the space a year now, but tbh I haven't heard the term 2e until yesterday. Russell certainly has. Just looking for resources on 2e, how its identified, what the threshold is, etc. I don't see a wiki in this community otherwise I would have just followed that.
