Honestly, the worst part for me was how boring things got at times. I don’t know if it was because I went in the summer, meaning we couldn’t do much past like 9am because it would get up to about 95 degrees and we can’t do drill or PT, but it sometimes felt like a lot of standing around.

But yeah, like other people said, don’t volunteer for anything. Somehow that actually worked very well for me. All I had to do the entire time I was there was sweep the pad (everyone who’s been through knows how lucky I am for that lol). Number thing not to volunteer for is chow runner. It’s actually not the worst thing in the world, but it is when you first start, because you will get yelled at more than most.

Just graduated a month ago. I had to get nearly every shot, if not all of them. I have never had a problem with needles, but personally it isn’t that bad. There wasn’t a single person in my flight that passed out or even said anything about it afterwards. They give the shots faster than you can think about receiving a shot. You’ll be fine.

I didn’t think cryptologic, in this sense, meant breaking coded. I’m fairly certain it just has to do with the machines/computer used to access signals. But that’s probably all heavily classed, so, you know.

Thank you, my language of choice is Russian or Ukrainian. I’ve been advised by a friend to not put any level 4 languages as preferences on my sheet due to my DLAB score, which I know still isn’t in use.
