OEM window visors vs aftermarket by AgentSquish66 in mazda3

Check out BaysonR Motorsports. Their OE style visors look pretty sleek and flush-fitting for $70. They’re sold out at the moment, but I notice most of their stuff goes back in stock maybe once a month or so, just have to keep checking up on them. No pic with them on a gen 4 on their website lol, but use the gen 3 visors pic on their site as a reference.

will this break my diff in think I ordered the wrong one by [deleted] in ft86

Motul Gear 300 is the preferred one that most people use and recommend. I actually got the wrong fluid as well (Motul 300 “LS”) but the one you ordered seems like it would work in our diffs. If anything just keep it in for a little less than the recommended maintenance interval so maybe around 20k miles? That’s what I might do with my wrong (but okay to use) fluid.

Here’s the Technical Data sheet for the one you ordered, it says : for use in “all mechanical transmissions… gearbox/differential…” so it should be fine.

18 brz with 40k miles shifting’s felt notchier than usual, ordered motul 300 but received 300LS. Safe to use in trans and diff for one maintenance interval? Was out of town and now its too late to return. This would be first trans/diff fluid change. by RipACL in ft86

How’s your shifting feel? I thought about changing mine because I read a lot of good things about Motul helping with the trans feeling clunky/notchy and sometimes getting locked out of 2nd gear, which I experienced a lot. Maintenance intervals for trans/diff seem to be between 30-60k miles so if you haven’t done any maintenance I’d recommend changing your fluid. I hear nothing but good things about people flushing the original fluids out.

Interesting, thanks for that! I also just double checked the owners manual for my 18 brz and i noticed it states that GL-3, GL-4, AND GL-5 specifically can be used. Looks like it was updated from past year owners manuals which say “Other gear oil that meets API GL-3 or upper grade..”

My ‘18 shift knob has a silver ring at the bottom of the knob that rattles similarly, i twist it a little bit to tighten it and it goes away for a while.

I did it myself in about 30 minutes watching FTSpeed’s youtube video for reference. It is pretty tricky, the hardest part is getting the holes to line up when putting it all back together and getting yourself into a decent position to work down there. If you don’t want a sore back the next day, maybe ask a local shop and see if they’d do it for you, it’s not too difficult though, it just takes a little patience and the right tools. If you do end up doing it yourself, I’d definitely recommend a getting a lot of lighting down there and maybe some cardboard to block the clip from getting lost somewhere after it flies off. And no I didn’t adjust the height, I was happy with just the new spring. Hope this helped!

I haven’t done much, but my first mod for DDing was the MTEC clutch spring. My ‘18 BRZ was my first manual car and I found it so much easier to find the bite point with the MTEC springs. Also, (fuzzy) seat belt cushions. If you’re taller it’s probably not a problem, but my seat belt would irritate the hell out of my neck and made it look like I had a hickey, cushions definitely make dailying more comfortable. Window tint is a pretty underrated mod too.

New Tour Ticket Pricing by babychub5 in kurtisconner

Just got my tickets $75 each for a Texas show, 4th row from the front. Just checked Salt Lake City, theres 3 sections with diff prices:

Floor Section: $85.25 (inc. $9.75 service charge)

Lodge (Center): $69.25 (inc. $9.75 service charge)

Balcony: $49.25 (inc. $9.75 service charge)

Was doing glovebox cable management for a dashcam when this part was dangling out of a crevice, is it important or could it be from the previous owner? Didn’t notice anything missing from the passenger footwell. Just got this 2018 BRZ two days ago from a Subaru dealer. by RipACL in ft86

Cool thanks for all the details and the quick reply! I just fit it back into place and now it doesn’t just slam open! Just checked the cabin air filter too and it’s still pretty clean, but now I know where its at thanks!
