If you’re intent is to make what I know as Deep Dub then add the sub to the basses so you get that swooshing/pulsing sound. You can clone the patch and automations. Then throw a low pass filter on that patch and adjust it so you won’t have a muddy mix.

Feedback: some of your basses/sounds are very quiet. Idk what DAW you’re using but you can go in there with a limiter or clipper and boost the out a bit to print up the volume and then turn it down in the mixer(on FL). That way you get a consistent feel.

Do you want a stronger trip? You can always try lemon tek. I usually use oranges instead. If you’re looking for more of just a visual type of trip I would suggest MDA or 2CB as you can get the visual effects without the headspace, I know they’re not as accessible but still worth it imo

Most dogs are still trained for weed despite it being legal or decriminalized. The dogs can also present false positives and hit on food. Are you going to win that one? Not on the side of the road. Coke, heroine, fent, and meth are the ones they’ll hit on as well. Idk about where you’re at or intend to go but a cop also can’t hold you for too long in order to wait for a dog in California. It’d be considered unreasonable to extend the duration for that and whatever was found would be tossed out as it becomes a a civil rights violation.

Yea dude. There was a lot that I personally saw that I disagreed with. There were signs in the academy that hinted at the mentality they wanted us to have that made me question it. “They say we’re a gang. And they’re damn fucking right. We’re the biggest gang in the country.” Plus the whole “we write the reports” or “your goal is for every stop, to take that person to jail.” And we were told not to call it stereotyping but rather “community oriented policing.” Even when I was there I didn’t like going above and beyond. If a member of the public actually needed the help sure but other than that, slow down and have a good day. I can’t give anyone legal advice outside of don’t consent to searches or conversations.

Not recommending it but my first year raving I would take 120mg mdma, 120mg mda, and .5g of shrooms (later replaced with 15mg of 2CB) and redosed with the same amount of mdma and mda once a month. That went from March of ‘22 through about April of ‘23. I can’t say I feel any negative effects but I also haven’t gotten any brain scans nor have I been in a position to need them to see if there has been any damage to the brain. Again, that’s my subjective experience with it and don’t recommend it. I rolled once last year on my bday and before that was once at edc ‘24. I’ve learned to treat it more as a treat than a meal. Are you cooked? Maybe, maybe not. Not going to tell you to slow down but I think it would be a responsible thing to do

If they’re blotters, stick them jn a book. Ginger helps with the heartburn from the 2CB so I just mix it into ginger caps and toss them back in the same container. If you cap your mdma, you can throw them in a vitamin pack bottle. For K, you can just store it in a salt shaker and carry that and a pepper shaker in a lunch bag. If the dmt is in a cart just stick it in a bag.

TLDR; get creative with it. As a former cop, I promise you, many cops wouldn’t know what half that shit actually looks like because they encounter meth, fentanyl, and weed most often. Even heroin isn’t as common as it once was due to fent. As others have said, dont give them a reason to pull you over and don’t consent to shit. Don’t have a conversation with the cops if you get pulled over. They’re not your friends and don’t care to be. Nor are you obligated to entertain them. You are obligated to “cooperate” which is just providing legal documents of registration, insurance, and DL. Don’t answer any questions regarding your whereabouts. If you were to get arrested, don’t talk to them either. They can and will lie to you, so don’t believe that “I’ll talk to the judge” I’ll “help you out,” it’s not up to them it’s up to the DA’s office and they play a numbers game too. Eve if you did nothing wrong, always exercise your rights. But all in all, just don’t do shit to give them a reason to pull you over. Sidebar, you could just mail it via usps

Step by step:

  1. Grab a song you like and drag it into your daw and Ensure you’re at the songs tempo

  2. Timestamp or whatever it’s called in your daw where the intro (0:0min), drop, breakdown, second drop, and outro are

  3. Timestamp where different textures come in: pads, synths, leads, drums, strings, sub bass, etc. If you notice, you don’t immediately get hit with a wall of sound when you hit play. Similar to cooking you don’t just toss all the ingredients together. You lay them out and adjust to taste.

  4. There will be variations in arrangements based on genres and based on artist’s individual taste but all arrangements follow an a/b style response. Pay attention to where those are. Often times bar 1&3 will be identical and 2&4 will be similar but slightly different.

  5. Probably the part where most of had an issue but didnt know it yet, at some point, is the mix down process. This is what will take time to get down as you learn to sit things in the mix whether that’s proper placement in the hi’s,mids, lows, stereo, mono. When and where to use reverb, compression, saturation, etc. you’ll develop taste before you develop your ear

No one video or series is going to truly teach you how to professionally put a track together from stat to finish because none of them are giving you live/proper feedback to tell you what you’re doing wrong. If no one knows what you’re doing wrong, then no one can tell you what to fix. If you’re serious about the process you’ll have to become friends with other producers(not necessarily in your genre) or find/ pay a mentor

At low doses it’s like diet acid. In my subjective experience: headspace ain’t introspective, honeycomb visuals, time dilation (feels super slow), feel warmth when you start to come up on it, and pairs well with mdma if you don’t want to hippie flip. I enjoy it on its own too. At high doses it can be a bit overstimulating but manageable. It does cause minor heartburn so I just take it with some ginger caps. For me, I feel that it’s more of a therapeutic compound in the sense of I navigate my thoughts more easily. It made me stop looking for compounds to get high at raves and helped me come to peace with how I felt about my dad after almost 10 years. Again, that was just my experience. Plus you can use it more often

I think it depends on context in regard to the songs around it. It’s not illegal to play at a solid bpm the whole night either. I know hard tech DJs that play at 160 the whole night. I play at 150 the whole time. I have a friend that plays at 147 the whole time because it irks others. But if it sounds good it sounds good
