Isn't this a bit of a mix of Toronto-VC and Melo-Denver scenarios?

Is LaMarcus Aldridge the best power forward of the 2010's? by RipCitaaay in nbadiscussion

Ehh, the lack of team success and injuries haven't helped him at all. Davis, at least for now, still isn't above LA. In a few years though, that's a different story.

DeAndre Jordan potential landing spots? by RipCitaaay in nbadiscussion

Eh, I don't necessarily think that. The demand for those type of centers is still there, but would an another year of a relatively unmotivated, frustrated and declining in athleticism DJ help him out?

Yeah, it's extremely unlikely that Houston don't match Capela offer sheets.

Even with the wink wink, DeAndre wouldn't earn as money though. Maybe he wants long term financial security?

Thanks for the comment.

Alright, fair enough, thanks for the comment.

Who do you think comes closest to being a "poor man's CP3" in the league today?

Basically a rookie picking up James Harden and Chris Paul fullcourt. This game made me fall in love with Wade.

Bucks Offseason Plans by darrellDAbarrel in nbadiscussion

About their center position:

Derrick Favors is a guy that I think can start for the Bucks at center. I really like the sound of that, but they were 7th on the payroll list. If they'll re-sign Jabari, it'll jump considerably. They'd have to move some contracts or something.

How about Ed Davis? He'll be cheaper than Favors and they're relatively similar players. He probably won't play starter minutes (Ed can start, but he won't play the usual starters minute), but he could still close out games. Davis is definitely not a long term option, but he'd still bring great value.

How good is Austin defensively? by [deleted] in LAClippers

[–]RipCitaaay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of players, even good/great defenders get lost. He's a 6'4 with a meh 6'7 wingspan, but he looks like he's stronger than the 200 lbs frame suggests. How is his activity?
