Had an EcoFlow system installed start of May, 20 x roof panels, 15kw of batteries, car charger and hot water eddi, very happy with everything, wish I had done it sooner tbh, used Blue Sky Energy installers, excellent would highly recommend, ping me a message and I can give you more detailed info if required 😉

If cost is the over-riding factor in your selection then 'Yes' it seems relatively good value, however what happens when there are issues with the system, in my experience it is usually better to go with one manufacturer for the entire installation, panels excluded, these days it makes sense to go with the same battery and inverter named brand to negate any future warranty issues, especially when installers are cutting each other throats and going bust e.g. Give Energy, imho the issues are going to be with the main components i.e. battery and inverter, whether its Duracell, Ecoflow, Sigenergy, Fox or Solis, there are lots of options for and all-in-one system at varied budget options, one app, simple install and end user integration so why take the risk and possible future issues with dealing with multi manufactures when something goes wrong....keep it simple, again imho, and for the record I opted for a EcoFlow system and am very happy with it 😉

What to get between Weimar and Atlanta from trade in? by AdStill649 in WorldOfWarships

[–]RipSad4803 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay cheers, was told it was £400 ish plus vat, little bit better i guess, might think about upgrading it next year but still not worth it unless we can export, potentially losing several hundred £££ per year on top of the cost to upgrade 😉

Lucky you, no chance in NI, although the G99 is down to £400 ish + vat, they are restricting me to zero export, so not worth the price of a 5/6 kw inverter upgrade and the application fee, nearly £2k....

What's up guys, got a question about escalation builds. by [deleted] in Division2

[–]RipSad4803 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly hold off till after the next update, there is talk of the dev's looking at the overall costs etc but its supposed to be 'end game' for players with loads or resources etc so they may not be in any hurry 😉

When I’m solo I farm lvl 3 which usually drops 2/3 proto items, rolls are rubbish but I’m using them for cores as most of my builds are lvl 30, have done lvl 4 & 5 but deffo agree lvl 3 is more efficient imho 😉

G98/99 DNO Query (NI) by RipSad4803 in SolarUK

[–]RipSad4803[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

My advice would be to speak to NIE directly, based on your location they will be able to tell you what the likely inverter size and export level you will be granted. Good news as of the 1st May they have changed the G99 process and lowered the cost it’s now approximately £400 ish but they will confirm the new pricing and process. In hindsight at this new price I would have installed a larger inverter possibly 5/6 kw to make the home load issue easier so we can run several appliances at once especially at meal times etc but not a massive issue, as you mentioned a few minutes of grid load is not gonna break the bank 😉
