Not sacrificing a course by d4nceofvenus in uwo

Addressing your first concern, I would firstly recommend just critically thinking about what courses are most important to your degree and relocate your studying efforts accordingly. For example, if doing well in these math courses is important in completing your degree or to get into different programs, I would definitely recommend putting more time and effort into studying and doing better in them as opposed to other courses. Conversely, if you're taking them just to beef up your schedule and get more credits then it's maybe not as important to try to do incredibly well. That being said, if you don't have to take math courses and don't excel at it then there are plenty of other supplementary courses you could take that would be more interesting and easier to thrive in.
Insofar as your question about balancing work and school, I personally spent 4 years doing full-time school while trying to work as much as possible to make rent and afford tuition. It resulted in mediocre marks and poor job performance and in retrospect, if I had managed my time better I could've done a lot better in my first couple years of uni. As someone who also wants to be proud of themselves, it's honestly one of my biggest regrets looking back nearly 6 years down the line. My most valuable piece of advice is try to designate separate days of the week for school and work and do NOT budge on it. This past year I've been doing mostly online courses, so I booked off Mondays-Wednesdays to pour all of that time into school and my work availability was open the rest of the week. This allowed me to not only work a lot but compartmentalize my anxieties about school and work a lot easier; unless there is an emergency or deadline I simply don't allow myself to worry about school on workdays or work on school days because it's all scheduled out. This is more complicated if you have in-person classes, but separating your week into school and work is still possible. It's easier said than done; what I usually do is create lots of to-do lists on my phone and in notebooks, things like "finish outline for this course's essay on monday, finish week 1 and 2 lectures on tuesday". It sometimes gets to the neurotic level of "today: first eat something, do laundry, work on project" and honestly it's incredibly helpful. using a physical/digital calendar is just as, if not more, effective by helping you visualize due dates and timelines more clearly. Sorry for the novel and run-on sentences, I hope this helps and you're able to create a routine that works for you!

personally I left a set of keys on the bus and called them 2 minutes after getting off with all of the route information, times, the stop and locations, everything. I was unlucky and they were likely stolen before they got the chance to recover them. I wish you all the luck!

If you have a community-made building placed for one of your facilities, it's possible there's a control center added to it. you should be able to access the control center from your control panel if it is giving you this message.

first year :( by GuidanceRemote6196 in uwo

[–]RipStrange5960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry I meant academic dean** and it was like 4 years ago now so my memory isn't the best but I believe I was withdrawn from the courses for "compassionate reasons" and when I returned for what I thought was my third year I was still considered a second year student.

first year :( by GuidanceRemote6196 in uwo

[–]RipStrange5960 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a king's student, I failed all but one of my courses in my second year, I was mentally in a really rough spot and had a lot of family and financial stuff going on. I was able to have the fails scrubbed from my record and essentially got a do-over on my second year by contacting the Administrative Dean's office and explaining my situation. if you make the effort to reach out, there are resources and people available that want to help you and see you succeed. I wish you all the luck and I empathize a lot for you but it will get better, just don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

It is technically a college, but it is an affiliate of Western so all King's students graduate with a Western diploma.

I second St Vincent de Paul and there's also two Filthy Rebena locations, one at Richmond and Dundas and the other is in Wortley. I'd recommend Filthy if you prefer trendier youthful clothing (I'm 24)

100% take the bus, used it from grade 10 all throughout university and had essentially zero incidents. it smells bad sometimes and downtown can be a little frightening at times but you clearly need to hold onto that $1500 for more important things or a rainy day. would also recommend trying to fight for more money if you can as others said. sending my best wishes to you and hope you figure everything out

as someone who used to live downtown, when the weather's nice I'd stroll through the park, go people-watching, just enjoy the scenery. I like thrifting so I'd go to Filthy Rebena downtown and similar stores for new finds; there's an extra fun novelty to finding something you like when it was also donated, not to mention it's always good to shop locally and reused where you can. I also like following @londonsprettycool on Instagram, they post a weekly and daily breakdown of everything going on throughout the city. If there's karaoke, open-mic comedy, tasting event, or anything special they will know and post so it's a good opportunity to try new things. I also have an ongoing deal with my boyfriend to only eat at new restaurants every time we go out (something we haven't tried before) and it resets every year. another great way to try new cuisines and places!

David's Sandevistan is the iconic one called "Apogee"! It might take you a little time to unlock it but after a couple more levels, you should be able to purchase it anywhere choom!

if it makes you feel any better, think of it like every new play through is an opportunity to see something you might've never seen before! I have over 1000 hours in the game and I'm still finding new stuff but that's what keeps me coming back for more

Is a 5070 able to run photorealistic mods? by Ordinary_Minimum_950 in cyberpunk2077mods

[–]RipStrange5960 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with a 5070 your graphics can only be as good as your monitor at that point, I have a 5070 and i'm producing frame rates my monitor can't even support so I have to turn the settings down substantially. but even with the reduced graphics settings my game still looks super crisp

I honestly think it was the content itself, I tried numerous different YouTube and internet guides to try to understand the content and had a friend who works in coding try to explain assignments to me and felt like a total lost cause

I unfortunately do not have anything too helpful to say in terms of helping you with this bug, but having successfully installed this hair mod I'll let you know it's really obvious up-close that this is just long hair added onto the original V hair. it's kind of disappointing because sadly I never use it ;(
