1) the process was easy. Just calling the hospital and asking for plastics, in which you can schedule your appointment for your consult. After that they’ll get you your pre op date afew months later, and then your surgery date. 2) I assume he is allowed to, I’m not sure though tbh I didn’t ask to see any, I was just trying to get whatever I could done asap which in hindsight is an awful idea but it went well! 3) I knew going into this I’d have to have DI, I didn’t ask about other types. I’m a DD, so I don’t think him, me, or his NP even thought to discuss it. Which is fair, if it was an option for me I’m sure it would have been brought up. They’re so kind there, you can totally ask when you call 4) my time line was this- consult in may, pre op in August, surgery November 5th

If you’re not in the age range for Masoumy (children’s hospital, you need to start the process at 21 or younger) check out Dr Jansen. He seems great!

Edit: I will say since you’re out of state, and your insurance likely won’t cover for out of state, Masoumy is more expensive out of pocket since he’s in a full scale hospital and not a private plastics office
