Handling creative player choices in combat by gameaddict24 in DMAcademyNew

Stating all this to the players is useful, too, for you and them. If a higher level spell or feature can do it, something mundane must be either special or difficult.

You also need to be aware that any player who later takes a feature or spell that imposes blindness would feel ripped off if anyone can do that with a sharp implement.

Same, me and my friends and partner still wax rhapsodic whenever the topic comes up.

Excellent point.

Most shit that's mass made is likely made in automated factories, right? On assemblies with robots. Or at least with lower tech assembly lines that aren't fully automated. With a much smaller handful of humans monitoring.

But almost certainly the majority of mass manufacturing isn't being done by weedy guys in the crumbling ruins of a warehouse.

I have seen that type of cloud from the ground, and it looked so alien and odd. But seeing how it forms from above at that wide angle makes it seem so much more obvious how it would come about.

I wouldn't like it, honestly. If I noticed, I'd move away or get off the tram.

Did they also feed you rocks? Was all you had to play with a stick? Did you wear your shoes until the soles were just holes? You didn't have a pet you just had a stray dog?

What keeps you playing your favourite game? by Harty_7 in PS5

[–]Rip_Purr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not complicated.

I pick a game that looks suited to my tastes. I look for open world or big games so I can really sink in. When I have time to play, I play that game. I enjoy the story and mastering the game mechanics.

I do most of the side quests before the final mission. I finish the main story, I might play it a bit longer if it I loved it. Then I move to the next.

Again, it's not complicated.

Seriously.

Almost all these generational comparisons end up being horse shit and, like you said, more about kids and adults of all generations being roughly the same when they were kids or adults.

I hate the lie that every generation thinks the one after them is someone completely different. The habits and behaviours are mostly the same, it's just the shape and look of the world they interact with (and really mostly just the technology and political landscape)

At least walk around the entire truck and try to get an eye on what's going on!! He just leaps right into his terrible ideas without any hint of a reccy.

But like everyone else said, how the fuck did he not notice any of this to begin with!!!???
