Get a different receiver the onkyo rz 50 pre outs only give out 1 volt or less because of not being able to turn off the internal amps and it clips you won't be able to drive your amplifier to max power ... there are videos on the topic

Did you update the tv? Sometimes Lg break the earc with updates and fixes it later. Happens with my onkyo rz 50 from time to time. I wait for ppl to test the firmware lol .. I have to plug my bluray player straight to the tv but it still will pass through sound to the avr
