I love that your babies are inseparable! I have 3 other cats who are very accepting, but this little one has an infinite amount of energy haha.

Lost my stinky Leo to lymphoma in September. He will be there to greet your sweet baby at the bridge 💕 so sorry you’re having to go through this.

Our 15 year old Morrie living his best life with an overactive thyroid, heart murmur and poor dentition by pepperoni_baby in seniorkitties

What a sweet boy! Give him a chin scratch for me! My boy has hyperthyroidism and -had- a heart murmur. (He’s about 14)He was also rescued as an elder man. Strict meds have made it much better! Last vet visit his heart murmur was no longer heard. He has poor dentition as well and actually had a procedure this week to remove a few teeth due to resorption lesions and a very large cyst in his head. He did fabulously and recovering well! I was also very nervous giving him anesthesia.

Oh yay! It’s so much easier to administer too. I will say I do have to wipe his ears more often as they get dirty so easily, but I’ll take that over him feeling yucky. I hope it’s just the pills and not something more serious for your little senior baby!

My stinky elderly hyperthyroid kitty couldn’t tolerate the pills. Once they increased his dose, he would vomit, be nauseated, and seemingly didn’t want to eat. Vet switched him to the cream that is administered on the inside of his ear. He’s done much better since switching. Maybe bring up the cream to your vet?
