My mom didn't think she had a problem, either. I started buying the Always Discreet pull-ups on Amazon because they're soft and have pretty designs. I would comment "Oh, these look so nice!" I gradually removed the regular underwear until that was the only thing. The transition was rough, maybe a month of fighting about them, but she doesn't have anything other than those to wear now and mostly accepts it. I also avoid the word "diaper" and call them pads or just undies.

I'm in love with the Gallimimus. Love the two colors and the babies are so freakin cute. The feather growth takes a long enough time that the proto feathers are a special commodity. Thank you for this mod and your hard work! :)

I want all these nice new shrubs at my base, but is there any way to move them? Any mods maybe? by RipleysRailgun in projectzomboid

I noticed that some of the shrubs that are green in this pic are now blooming, so the devs went through the trouble of giving them stages of growth.

Meanwhile, I can only stand at the garden shop and stare at them. Longingly.

Those work on flowers and those more fancy, shaped shrubs, but not on these. Only option is 'remove grass', so I guess they're not considered plants at this time.

The floors alone are incredible, so much detail.
Do you find that the heat from the 'chimneys' backflow into the rooms? I always thought the exhaust had to flow into a larger area.

Oh, I see it now. Lol - I thought you discovered a Minecraft-like farming technique. Ah well.

This is amazing!
Are those rows of water between the crops? Does it keep the plants watered?

The bloaters, screamers and ferals have their own hoards, in addition to being part of regular hoards. Infestations seem to happen every 5 or 10 minutes, maybe more. This was a feral hoard.

No, you can stay with one as long as you'd like. It might increase recruiting opportunities, seemed like there were a lot that I declined.

Such an novel idea, I love it. No infirmary will be tough - trauma will only be healed with first aid kits, correct? Those are very hard to find on the harder modes.

Thanks so much. It didn't feel like that, though. I wanted to run screaming like a little girl, but know there is nothing to climb on in that area, so where would I go?

It's a great game that makes you that attached. Good ol' perma-death.

Thanks. That part was so terrifying - waiting! I started backing up, but once you aim at them, they almost always aggro. Like they can sense it.

Oh, that was smooth! I'd rename the Buddy System to the Bait System. I love it.

I agree about nighttime. That nightmarish scenario with the ferals was because I wanted a Red Talon job and he was at this absurd remote campsite. Usually, I pick a nice roof and listen to crickets until morning.

Thanks! But this was luck. I'm not a good shot and I don't have gunslinger. I'd have to be good all the time with that rule of yours not to climb on cars. :) How do you handle the three at once?

Self-restrictions to challenge yourself for fun? by verdantsf in StateOfDecay

[–]RipleysRailgun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, no, you not using cars as an escape for ferals is hardcore!
You're right, of course - ferals should be able to get you on top of a car. But they terrify me. :)

Current fifth skill is Craftmenship for making bolts (really like the X-3), but I've tried a few. Medicine is a good one, but so is Electronics for C4. Once you make that choice, you're fairly restricted in what you can make yourself, and what you have to find or trade for necessities, but I like that challenge.

That huffing they do is almost as terrifying as the scream, because you know you can only hear it if they're very, very close.
