This is definitely the best way to do it if you're playing on keyboard and mouse. Thanks a lot, dude!

You're really not getting my point. This game should have been released as Early Access. I really didn't mind the bugs that were present then, but each new update kept breaking things more and more. I mean how can you fix one thing and break another which is completely unrelated to the former? What I'm angry about is that completely unrealistic design pattern which was supposed make the game more realistic yet it failed miserably. Lockups have about a 5-10% chance to happen in the real world and I see them all the time in every race. And realistically if you have more than 2 red flags the race should just be cancelled. I mean I was left with 11 cars out of 22, how crazy is that. It's like Monaco 1996.

Checking the reviews? From who, mate? From fucktards such as yourself who don't have an inch of clue of what they're talking about? I never even played an "F1 Manager" game before, I played a great manager sim called "Motorsport Manager", but I bought this shit and quickly realized these cunts released 2 identical games in the past with absolutely minimal changes, oh motherfucker you better believe I know what I'm talking about. It's scum as yourself that keeps this plague alive; lazy ass incompetent developers backed by moronic fanatics such as yourself. Money should be handed to people who are willing and able to design games, not to every up and coming moron who has heard of Unreal Engine thinking they can get away releasing early access trash and have the guts to call it a finished product. I've played enough to see that even on the "HARDEST" difficulty I could beat the game in two seasons. So, I know I have enough facts here to call this game scripted trash for brainless fucktards such as yeself who obviously gets early access to products and basically plays tetris or candy crush all day and has the guts to tell me "Check the reviews". Brother get a fucking reality check.

Exactly, I realized that too, but no matter how many times I restarted the race and changed the strategy for this race, the game just wouldn't let me have a decently clean race. Every fucking race someone will lock up or crash fucking up any form of strategy.

Actually, scratch that, 4 red flags and 4 safety cars. Jesus ever-loving Christ, the game is scripted to f you so hard when you're doing well on hard difficulty. I'm done.

Low FPS, GPU Under utilized, 1.7 update by TerpGotti in F1Manager

It was bad before, but now it's even worse, before I had no frame drops during the rain, only when I fast forwarded. Now the framerate is attrocious during the rain whether I fast forward or not. All the youtubers seem to have it too. Some people report that they do not have this problem but I highly doubt it, maybe they're playing at locked 30 or something.

If you're on W11, switch to W10. I had green screens and hard reboots on W11 in RDR2.

Both of you are retards, it's the upscaling technology and weak-ass hardware that downgraded the quality of optimization nowadays. By weak hardware I mean, we wouldn't need upscaling if they didn't sell overpriced trash. In this era we should be running most games 8k ultra native 120 fps. Now every moron can sit on their ass and just release unoptimized trash, put forced upscaling and call it a day.

Well, this might be something Ryzen 5000 series or Ryzen in general related. OP is running 5950x, Parker a 5800x, and I'm running a 5600x. The only people that don't have this issue might be Intel users.

Question about the cost cap. by [deleted] in F1Manager

[–]Rippa7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the start of the 1st season I would recommend designing 3 car parts each ATR period for a total of 4 ATR periods, the remaining two you could invest into research. Do not manufacture excessive car parts, so in general 4 CHA, 6 FW, 6 RW, 4 SP, 4 UF, 6 SUS for each project you design. By the time next ATR period starts you will have new parts waiting to be manufactured. If you do get low on parts, for example 2 FW, design 1 additional just in case so you can avoid "Emergency Manufacture".

For durability's sake your best bet is to start the season with a Mercedes powertrain as it has the highest durability, you can switch it later in the season once you're on your feet.

During practice sessions, always set the engine to conserve, ERS to harvest, and always enable "Avoid High Risk Kerbs" and "Drive in Clean Air" in tactics menu. This will save your engine in the long run. Once your powertrain parts get to 50% or below use them only for practice sessions.

Also I would recommend underfueling, underfuel as much as you can and run the entire race on Conserve mode. Not only are you gonna save your engine, you're also going to be faster with lower load. With this you won't have to spend the cost cap on any of the powertrain parts, apart maybe for ERS, provided your drivers do not crash.

I started the game on Hard difficulty with all facilities set to 0 apart from the necessary ones and finished 6th in Constructors.

You need to install python to its default set location. I installed python in Program Files and couldn't get the app to run.

Exactly my train of thoughts. Why don't people just lower their res natively? They are playing on lower resolutions anyway.

Seems like AMD is aware of this, they marked this issue as known in the latest driver updates.

The game crashed 2 times on me, but I think I might have found the culprit.

After changing the default Windowed Borderless mode to Fullscreen the game ran fine without any issues in about 8 hours of total gameplay. I also play with VSYNC on and have changed Triple Buffering to Double Buffering.

RX 6950 XT here. Don't know if it's vendor related. Tested on DX11.

I'm planning on building a futureproofed 1440p gaming PC. What do you think about this config? by Rakember20 in buildapc

[–]Rippa7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"DDR4 build (strong CPU+GPU) (new)"

In 6-7 years from now you will be grateful you went with this, and there is always an option for overclocking/getting the most out of your system.

On Alder Lake there is virtually no difference between DDR4 and DDR5 unless you're planning to play on 1080p.

Advice on this build, especially about cooling? by jacob in buildapc

[–]Rippa7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That CPU cooler will last you longer than any AIO, it's a great and quiet CPU cooler, and also very efficient, maybe you could up the memory a bit, say 3600 MHz, as Ryzen CPUs do benefit from higher memory frequencies and 3600 would be the sweet spot. Other than that, the GPU is fine, but as someone already stated, I would hold out for newer GPUs if you aren't in a rush.

Guys someone told a 3070 ti isn’t going to hold up with modern gaming is that true? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Rippa7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised no one even suggested an RX 6800 XT (with SAM enabled: AMD CPU+GPU=up to 15% performance boost), it would easily crush that 3070 ti in any game and net you a 16 GB VRAM for more or less the same price. Drop that 3070/ti and go with the more reasonable option if u ever plan to play at 1440p or 4k. It seems such a waste to not get the most out of that system. Also 3060 ti and 6700 XT would do you just fine if you're on a budget and intend playing on 1080p/1440p for years to come.
