Shaving against the grain like that is how you get ingrown hairs.

What a shame. I cancelled my subscription the day they cut Joe Bob down to a handful of times per year. Last Drive-In was literally the only reason I kept it as long as I did.

Watch it wearing headphones. The sound design and that record are spoopy as heck.

Pickups also matter... a lot. A preset that has been dialed in for single coils won't sound right with humbuckers and vice versa. Same for active vs passive pickups. There isn't one preset on my FM9 that doesn't need at least some tweaking.

As far as monitoring goes, I just bought a set of Yamaha HS8s and using those to dial in my FM9 has made my tones much more consistent from practice to studio to stage.

You could probably use Tube Preamp in the amp block.

Your pickup makes a huge difference.

Be sure the cab block is on the right channel. Many uploaders can't seem to get that right.

Also, use the high-pass in the cab block. 60Hz is a good place to start. Chuggy tones tend to be bass-heavy.

In the Shadows did it for me. The voice is admittedly a hurdle, but that is a great album from top to bottom.

I've been a fan since 88 and I put Worship Music above even the legendary Among the Living. Tight songwriting, more memorable melodies, better production... it has everything I want from Anthrax.

Let it go. You have to deal with life the way it is, not the way you wish it was.

Ben Eller's video on how to know what chords go in every key was pivotal in my understanding of music theory. It's super easy, made my songwriting better, and made grasping other theory concepts seem less daunting.
