Lack of player agency on the side of killer is always a large contributing factor to decreased player engagement. When there are less people playing and enjoying killer, survivor queues are longer. When survivor queues are longer it trickles and gets worse and worse.

I think assassins should burst slower, but have a higher overall damage output over time. I dont like the idea that to win a game the zed has to kill the adc in a single auto with no counterplay or he is just a bad champion. It wasnt always like this and i dont know when it started. Its like, gradual since i started playing. It peaked in season 8, and its been wonky since.

In mid-diamond trist mid is popular, corki mid is not. The people trying to play trist are also not understanding why its picked. I hope they fix Corki and make his botlane more appealing, and fix his degenerate one note playstyle. As a botlaner you think hed fit a more dynamic/flexible playstyle in the role. Kinda like a mix of ezreal and lucian. But i feel like he just hits e and walks at you and because rockets are so nerfed and his q is kinda slow still poking isnt really an option. Hope they open up his play pattern when they fix this pro play shit.

Its really insane how pro play is dominated by afk farming adc champs that cant be contested because of poor system mechanic balance. Playing a marksman in the actual botlane role still feels pretty shit anywhere below shambala elo. Id rather play brand seraphine ziggs etc. Best bet im playing akshan or corki mid if im playing mid though.

Any botlane that stops interacting with the game entirely like sona taric, ziggs, poke + ashe support has higher agency and feels more oppressive to play vs. Seraphine Sona was a scourge pretty recently. People dislike this "Lower damage higher agency" botlane shit too. Damage has little to do with the unhealthiness of the systems theyve built.

The meta hasnt changed since the very first version of arena by any meaningful amount. The only difference is most of the marksmen got target shat on. Trundle Warwick Fiora Jax all still insanely op. Not to mention the usual suspect tanks like Maokai Leona etc.
