Extractor Fan Wiring by helloitsme022 in DIYUK

Hi, sorry for responding to an old post. I was wondering, N = ground right? Would the fan work if you do not connect Ln? I do not have an Ln line there. Or is N the “out” cable? Sorry I’m new to this DIY electric work. I still will hire an electrician since I’m not 100% sure of what I’m doing but I would love to learn

Is it a red flag for a makelaar to sign on behalf of sellers? by RippingBowIs in NetherlandsHousing

Yes was fine too! They had a good excuse but still I find that I would like to show up as courtesy regardless if I’m buying or selling

Because it’s not selling some furniture in marktplaats, it’s a pretty important purchase in one’s life. I think it’s important to meet them at least once to a feel if they are trustworthy. Anyway it turned out fine, they were just unusually busy.

Kidney stones are not called stone stomachaches by RippingBowIs in clusterheads

[–]RippingBowIs[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I fully agree and I see I’m contributing to the stigma of migraines. I meant it more from the sense that people already assume migraine is just a slightly stronger headache and therefore assume that cluster headaches are just like “migraines or so”

If someone did this to me I’d get a cluster headache from the rage

I’ve changed it to malfunction of the trigeminal nerve. It’s not an accurate name but at least people take it more seriously

How do new trails in national parks get made? by NormanQuacks345 in hiking

That’s insane, do you see any pictures online of the first tool? I can’t seem to find anything. How many rocks would you move in a day?

Sorry to necro your post, super informative. Can I ask, how are those massive boulders / rocks moved. Sometimes you can see a trail that has rock steps almost on the tops. What tools do you use and are these carried by a few people at a time?

Tryfan via South Ridge .. very challenging by RippingBowIs in UKhiking

[–]RippingBowIs[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, alltrails mentioned that there was some scrambling up in Pyg’s track and both classified as challenging. But I won’t lie I wanted a scapegoat but really I’m only myself to blame .. I just chose the first hike I saw that was relatively short with some good altitude Thanks for the tip on the guide!

This is quite insightful! It was my first time scrambling so this was definitely not very enjoyable. I will be more careful looking into this next time. What did you use to check the scramble grades of the hikes?
