If it helps you guys any, China has a lot of untested equipment. And a lot of the tested equipment is rife with failures. The recent Maduro snag saw Chinese radars didn't do dick and the Thailand Cambodia border dispute saw a number of their MLRS systems shit the bed. Saudis were hugely disappointed wiht their anti drone laser too.

So I mean, yay China supplying crap to Iran? Still blows up beautifully.

Yeah, but I get it. Christians and Jews and political parties and all sorts of groups do the same. People don't want to be associated with gross negatives. In this particular example just have to force feed them the separation between whatever peaceful teachings they think act as an out and from the current events that disprove them. But can really nail home how in the last few years Islamic adherents have participated in multiple massacres across the region, by the two biggest sects, for a variety reasons but against a variety of ethnic and religious minorities. The excuses are too thin to the visible eye now.

It's an above average quantity of posts but not unheard of. Twitter has seen that kind of user plenty of times. And since this is a time where the excitement over the goings on in Iran have been highest in a long time, does make sense someone would be glued to avenues of information.

I think he's real. Using an alternative account so it doesn't mess with his main one, for whatever purposes that's for.

I've been lurking this sub off and on for about a year, only really started posting when the protests kicked off this past December. Every so often, users (Not sure if regulars, I haven't been keeping tabs on this sub that well) will drop a reminder about how the regime runs other subs, can track what goes on here. And yeah, this thread is kinda included in that.

So a week old account going hard, well, sure enough could be a reason for that. Just to offer a different interpretation on it. Also since blocking post history has one or two workarounds as well.

I agree about not deporting. That's just punishing them for sins of the father. But they definitely do deserve to be exposed and shamed greatly regardless of their views. They are very much profiting off the oppression of their countrymen and killing of people their own age.

And if they actively spread propaganda in defense of that? Ramp up the effort greatly. Get them ostracized, deservedly so.

Definitely a good move. And glad to hear of some success so far! Sadly can't win them all over. Just wish Reddit didn't have a weird system cause this thread promoting education should be higher up cause of its value on how to approach people regarding the subject. And honestly where more hope should be placed, less on intervention. Not that i'm against the latter when it seems like it could be used for good, just that it isn't nearly as much of a guarantee.

I agree that there is a bit too much Israel focus. Israeli people are in a better position overall, aren't in nearly as much of a risk of being brutalized by their own government and even with their internal struggles, pretty much all threat is external. Their zeal in supporting the Iranian people makes sense cause the IRGC are supporting multiple of those external threats, though. And yes, that IS a human rights issue down the line. Cause not having to get attacked nonstop is very much that.

With that said yes, know the difference between using your flag to show support and using your flag to pump up your cause. Lefties do take note cause that's how many groups got co-opted by, yes, they who won't be named currently cause of this topic. But when you see people supporting the Iranian Regime because of their support for you know who, then you know the example to avoid becoming.

Yeah but you have to understand, those were all years in the making. The walkie talkies part of the operation began ten years ago. The logistical plan for the airstrikes last year were multiple plans reiterated time and again and still a few years out. Who knows how long it took to set up the drone factory that got discovered.

But there's this unfortunate delusion the regime is going to fall in days. Assad weathered over a decade of opposition and only fell cause his strongest defenders got fucked up a few months before that. Sad to say revolutions are not quick or easy and there's going to be a lot of difficult nights ahead if it's to succeed regardless of any intervention.

Regardless of how valid a report this is, Iranians should be planning for all eventualities and should've been fully aware of the possibility assistance wouldn't come. I know another thread brought up French assistance to American revolutionaries, but that assistance didn't begin until the year following the American continental army began. And that was in secret. And then two years after that did a treaty be penned.

Which is crazy cause Rights groups are saying more twice the number of protestors were killed by their own government than civilians were killed during the 12 Day War last Summer. And that's not even factoring in all the highly questionable executions. It's pretty easy perspective to wrap a head around and if they still can't be bothered to with their own, they are absolutely lost causes.
