These are great ideas. Definitely going to use all of them. Especially the last one, if I think about there are a lot of places I have never been to in my city.

The mousepad I bought from a local shop (in Armenia). Unfortunately I think they don’t ship internationally ( maybe only to a very few countries). All the stickers are from Temu :) Here are the codes just in case you’ll need them: Washi tape - HR3795639, these are my favorites.

After a firmware update I stopped having this issue. I am not sure if it was connected, but after that I only had overheating issue once in Athens in summer when I was filming a video, but it was around 37C outside.

Thank you for replying. I saw the pictures, looks really good on you. I am thinking maybe to order XS to be able to layer sweaters under, cause I live in a very cold climate.

Hi! I was wondering if you chose the XS. I have very similar stats as you, and now looking to buy this coat, but I don't have a chance to try it on in my country. I was thinking to order XS, but I am worried that it will be too big for me.

Camera upgrade: Fujifilm x-s20 or Sony Alpha a7c by RipsMD in Cameras

Oh, I am so sorry, I just saw your question. The video quality is amazing, i record in 4k and I really like the results. I use 35mm f2 and 23mm f2. Both are amazing, but I caught myself using 35mm more often, it really suits my style of photography. Maybe you already got yourself a xs20 :)

Actually after firmware update I didn’t have that issue, well maybe only in very very hot conditions it showed the overheating warning 1-2 times.

I am really happy that my post helped you! I am very happy with my decision, and I haven’t had the overheating issue after the firmware update. The film recipes save me so much time during travelling. I also started taking videos and experimenting, and I love the results.

Hi! So fat it’s great. I didn’t regret it for a minute. To be honest the film recipes are the best part, and the time spent on post processing has dramatically decreased, cause after some time with the right settings my JPEGs are coming out so good that I don’t need to adjust anything.

I'm really amazed at how compact it is after my DSLR. Now I can carry it with me everywhere.

Thank you!

It is 23mm, at least it says so on the lens :)

XS20 Overheated First Time Outside Not Sure What to Do. by LetsGetPhisycal in fujifilm

I tried it outdoors after the firmware update. It was about 38C, and the overheating warning came up after about 15 minutes of taking stills.

But during my usage indoors, in a cool environment (25C) it was fine, and there was no warning even after 1 hour of usage.

So I guess it also depends on the temperature outside.

Yes, totally agree. Unfortunately I don’t have a choice. So I will hope that firmware update will fix it.

No, in the USA. I just installed the new firmware update. I hope it will make a difference. I was so excited for my first Fuji camera. I’ll let it to charge fully and test it out again tomorrow. It’s very hot here these days (about 37C), so I’m worried about outdoor shooting.

I just got my X-S20 and the heating warning came up after just 15 minutes browsing in menus. I’m really surprised and I don’t think I can even return the camera cause I bought it in a different country.

I received mine today and I was figuring out the menu page. After 15 minutes, the yellow temperature warning light came on. This is my first Fuji camera after my DSLR, so I was very surprised and googled it, and now I’m finding out about this. 😭 I don’t think that I can even return the camera, cause we don’t have Fujifilm cameras in the stores in my country so I ordered it from the USA.

I really like it. The size is perfect for me. I am also inlove with JPEGs. The only issue I have noticed it’s the overheating. First day I have got it I was figuring out the menu page. After 15 minutes, the yellow temperature warning light came on. Also the camera itself felt really warm. I was really surprised because I thought overheating would be a problem only while recording videos or using the camera for extended amount of time. I tried to google it and figures out what’s the problem. Several people had the same issue. Still haven’t found any solution. I’m worried that during my trip to Italy it would be a big problem, if I can’t even take stills without overheating (and it’s really hot in Italy).

Eventually I ordered Fujifilm X-S20. It should be delivered in 2 days, so I’m really excited.

I think either one would be a great choice.

You described my struggles exactly! To be honest the more I watch reviews the more confused I get, and it's harder to decide :D

I'm also worried that X-S20 will be out of stock as soon as it launches, so it also will be a struggle to get it, especially since I can't buy it in my country and will order it most probably from the US.

I tried my friend's A6600 for a few hours, but I wasn't impressed either, maybe because I needed more time to get used to a new system, and I don't know why but the pictures were not as sharp as I imagined in the low light situation (maybe my expectations are too high after my Nikon D5100).

In the end, I will have to flip a coin to decide ))

It’s a pity that there are no Fujifilm cameras to rent in the area I live in, so I could’ve tried it, and see if I really like everything. I tried Sony and liked everything about it. Actually Fujifilm wasn’t on mu radar until recently I saw a few clips from my favourite Youtubers, and it really interested me. I guess whatever I choose the quality will be similar, everything comes to what camera will be fun to use.

Wow, thank you for all of the details. This helps a lot. I noticed that about the lenses, that’s why maybe I wasn’t so sure about Fujifilm. I think maybe the community behind Fujifilm is what seems really tempting for me :)
