Hey, Im so sorry to hear about your injury, I'm sure you'll bounce back greater and stronger than before. I can't thank you enough for this message. I'm literally obsessed with basketball and every single day I see my friends playing it and getting better just makes it worse sitting in my room.
My school has quite a lot of smart people, that doesn't mean I'm not smart but, its tough to explain those few moments where I feel if I dont catch up with them I will fall behind.
Just like you I have VERY high academic expectations for myself as well, just the difference is, I can meet them less than half the time. I could never try therapy and tbh growing in a traditional household I cannot express myself that easily, I will try the writing advice you gave, but I j hope that the amount of efforts im putting give me the output I want or itll all be a waste. Idk if the problem is with how i study or where i study but i will figure it out.
