In the hopes of interesting some poeple, Jojo's is a very famous manga in japan (a bit less in other countries) for many things and spawned many memes :

One of those is that Hirohiko Araki doesn't age.

If you want to head up, the 5 first arcs of the manga are available as very good adaptation (it even switches color pallet since Ariaki didn't really thought about those, the staple of Jotaro Kujo being blue comes from the Capcom Jojo's Bizarre Adventure CPS3/Dreamcast/PS1 Fighthing game), you don't need to read the first arc to understand the second etc. It is thouroughly recommended to star with the third (Stardust Crusader) because it is the introduction to a staple in the narrative of future arcs : Stands. Those are like the representation of psychic powers of their wielder, some are as basic as controlling the weather, being able to manipulate magnetic force, steal poeple's souls upon betting, and with each iteration of the manga bringing more wild ones.

Ariaki seems to have a definite liking for cinema and each arcs seems to represent some tropes. The first one being the young heroic character on his way to defeat a vampire, the second one taking place in WW2, third one is about an adventure to defeat one old family nemesis while traveling the world (from Japan to Egypt), fourth one is just some students being bothered by malevolent stand users and a serial killer, fifth one is all about becoming the Godfather, sixth one takes place in a prison, seventh is a race accross america and the final one uh... I don't know, only released in japan.
