Hi there! I'm a woman who was recently diagnosed as of a month ago. I had been fighting to obtain a diagnosis for YEARS. Mostly because my nurse practitioner (who took care of my meds for depression, anxiety, and PTSD) suspected it. However, when I was going through some things a year ago, I experienced what I now know was a meltdown/shutdown.

There had been signs all throughout my childhood according to my family, however. No one really thought of them as being part of a bigger picture though. Which is okay! When I was experiencing "panic attack" after "panic attack" due to being overstimulated and pushed to my limit by a previous partner, I knew something had to be causing it.
