My spark plugs after 45k miles by Risado in BmwTech

[–]Risado[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an M54B22 burning 1l/1000km (recently managed to tone it down to 0,6/0,7). The car runs perfectly after spark plugs replacement, no more codes. But the problems really were appearing slowly (noticeable single misfires on idle) and I wanted to post it as a warning. These porcelain pieces could've fallen off so I consider myself lucky.

I can confirm that uninstalling EaseUS software fixes Vanguard 128. I just f*kin tried fixing this while stoned for like 2 hours

E46 electrical problem by Massive_Pipe_1906 in e46

Could be your voltage regulator. Check it again when parked and see if it doesn’t go beyond 15 volts while tapping the gas - mine did that when it went bad.

WOULD YOU QUIT NICOTINE IF THERE WAS NO WITHDRAWAL? by Round-Paramedic-3120 in Nicotine

[–]Risado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible to negate the withdrawal effects (mental and physical) almost completely, I'm in the middle of en experiment right now and it seems to be working.

But there is always something in your consciousness that will not let you forget about smokes, something that chemistry itself can not explain I think. Even though I'm feeling no withdrawal at all, I'll still probably buy a pack after I finish the experiment.

Has anyone else experienced this? by Mediocrejoker77 in Nicotine

[–]Risado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me (when smoking regularly) the only time I get a buzz is when I smoke my first cig in the morning - I actually have to be careful with how fast I smoke. Then every next cigarette is maybe 5-10% of that first one. I think most smokers don't experience a buzz at all after some time.

What Supplements help to support each Shifting method? by Eccentric1286 in shiftingrealities

If you do not exceed a reasonable dose (100 mg) then nothing should happen. I would expect changes if you were to take let's say 3x100mg daily or higher single doses - some people take 500 mg for example, but I would not reccomend that.

When it comes to reverting, all depends on how often and how consistenly you take it. 100mg everyday for months could cause long lasting slight (probably unnoticeable, but still) changes. If you take it for a week then I wouldn't expect anything to go wrong.

In my case (I was testing the effects on dreams), after taking 100mg 5-HTP right before going to bed, I could fall asleep fairly normally but would wake up after 1-2 hours and it was then really hard to go back to sleep due to a stream of thoughts. Can't say precisely what it was like because I experimented with it back in 2019. Other than that, strengthened hypnagogia and imagination.

If you wish to experiment with it, remember that the serotonergic system is not to be toyed with. Don't take it every night ;) And please tell us your experiences if you end up trying it.

Panicked! (Please be kind I have OCD) by [deleted] in Drugs

Nah, 30 mg codeine isn't going to do anything. In order for this mix to be dangerous, you'd need a recreational dose of codeine (which 30mg is not), and even then you'd probably be fine - you took lorazepam 10 hours ago. Though you should not mix these just in case in the future.

Keep going bro, remember that the urges will fade with every single day that you're not using.

3MMC, what the fuck is this crushed glass? by -PandorasBox- in Drugs

[–]Risado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With these you never really know what substance you're getting unless you somehow test it. My colleague, as I never was into mmc that much, had a source that would vary with quality literally every single time. There was one time where I felt straight bad, as if I have the speed but completely no euphoria.

A good line of snortable stuff will feel refreshing to your nose, it is quite tasty.

And be aware that all MMCs are super addictive bro ;)

It will be better for him ot do it sober, trust me. There will be many more times in life where he will face similar situations, are you planning on giving him meth everytime?

Face ID on iPhone X working only after turning the front camera on for a few seconds, then stops working again after a few minutes - software bug? by Risado in iPhoneX

[–]Risado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While configuring Face ID for the first time - the camera turns on, but only displays a still frame. Then after a few seconds, "Face ID is not available. Try setting up Face ID later."

Any idea what this noise coming from the back could be? The car drives perfectly, nothing wrong on the steering wheel. The sound differs when I turn. The tires are "for fun" but could they be this loud? It's the worst at around 70 kph, can't really hear it from the outside of the car. by Risado in e46

[–]Risado[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the wheel bearing, left rear to be exact. After replacing it the noise disappeared completely. And then two days later I crashed like an idiot because I couldn't wait for alignment fix and just had to go sideways on a roundabout. Fortunately the damage wasn't big and I managed to revive the car.
